    timken seal has a little hole?
    Does that go downward or upwards??
    I just bough mine

      I'm sure you are long past needing an answer for this but for anyone else the hole is for pressure relief and should sit at 10:00 or 2:00

    Is that the 4446 transfer case?

      Not if he is using ATF. 44-46 takes the special fluid aka unicorn blood
