I know the meme of the center shot thing with Pokemon Snap but I've started playing today and got some Diamond level shots of some Pokemon even though they weren't centered. I think it was cause I got it lined up with some awesome backgrounds that boosted the points amazingly. With the old Pokemon Snap it had little to work with so of course centered shots were the best shots, but here I think they updated it very nicely so that even uncentered shots can be high score shots if you get other awesome things in the shot. That also said I took three shots of that Sylveon and all three of them said it was of the Torterra even though it was way in the background and not even close to center XD
