I personally would put Indworlds into C tier. The Industrial revolution is known for being particularly rough on workers - so if you are not of high statue... you might be working dangerous jobs a lot. Apart from that you need to hope that the big-shots don't figure out how great war is, now tha they can mass produce weapons, bombs and tanks.
Nice recap of the different planet types! Though, one thing I'm pretty sure you forgot to think about is whether you're being drop podded or born in the planet. Because, if you've never seen a tree, why would urbworlds be unnatural?
I don't think they would be unnatural, but if you are born on one, you'll just never know what a tree looks like, perhaps only from stories, movies or textbooks.
@@thenightarchives4148 (TLDR at bottom) I think I made my point poorly, what I mean is that one super philosophical question: If you've never known about a life better than yours, can you really think about one? I think the people born there, living their entire mental and physical life there, wouldn't know of many lives better than their own, and so would be happy with readjusting what they have every so often. As they say, change is as good as a vacation, angling your bed 180* is a MASSIVE dopamine boost. The fact is. To them, it's not perfect, there would still be an upper and lower class. But, you'd think of your life as a B+, so why rate it lower? We have better lives here than on urbworlds. We have ecosystems, for one. We have movies about lives better than ours, famous people with more money than we can count. We can think about much better lives than they can. Realistically, it wouldn't be the best life, but it'd be one of the best you know of. Which one matters more? TLDR: I personally think it'd be a pretty good life, because you don't know better. Sorry about the text brick, I'm just really enthusiastic about this chunk of philosophy.
"You're definitely not gonna be lonely here" As experience shows, the more overcrowded a living place is the more isolated people become from each other which you can quite easily see by the state of midern big cities like Tokyo and such. It gets especially bad in an intense capitalistic environment. So, no, living in an urbworld would be hella depressing.
But I doubt they will drop pod industrial or glitter medicine in middle of nowhere. At least on rimworld there *are* people and orbital traders visit for generating profit of underdeveloped communities. Or maybe some people might fight with space pirates or something.
Glitterworlds always gave me "Logan's Run" vibes with a little bit of "The Giver". Maybe I'm just jaded, but I don't see that type of civilization happening without something _very_ sinister going on behind the scenes.
Hey! I establish colony on oceanic planet countless time at Persean Sector. The place habitable, people eat good with aquaponic (Goddamn Sindria have monopoly of Volturnian Lobster), plenty of organics (earthen call that black gold) for light industry and space suit, and I put that in either C (at least for the first settler) or A (if you the native born there) and everyone there can swim.
You know if a medival world slowly collided with a Steamworld (like how the moon was formed) you'd literally have an elder scrolls planet imagine steam robots surviving the impact and just chilling with the knights Alternatively they can become just like the ancient steam robots from Skyrim kinda funny really
In that case everyone on both planets would probably die from the force, shockwave, and heat of two planets slamming into one another but its kind of a cool concept
I mostly agree but I'd put oceanworlds in D tier rather than F. It would be like subnautica in rimworld. You would need adapted technology and housing but I'm sure people would manage and if they've got the technology then it might not even be that bad. If it's an uninhabited oceanworld though, you wouldn't survive.
But according to the wiki, the Deathworlds and Deadworlds are different. Deathworld: everything wants to kill you. Deadworld: This planet hasn't been checked yet because it's probably worthless but we'll never know until we see it. But yeah, generally uninhabitable.
From 5:49 to 6:10 it makes me feel... GOOD 😇 because the fact that I also have food, a house, and access to RUclips, despite what is said in the timestamp... I am happy 😄 that I am alive and well. Thank you night archives!
I have a Headcannon for a world Called:Shambler-worlds, as you can expect, its inhabited by Shamblers only and small groups of humans and very fortified strongholds. In your Opinion which would Shamdbler-Worlds hold? (very Likely in either D-F Tier)
considering anomaly loves the idea of sending you 5 billion different threats in the span of a year I'd be surprised if there aren't worlds completely overrun by shamblers or flesh beasts or anything anomaly throws.
Honestly I want to go from a glitter world to a rimworld. I am an anarchist so… the glitter is comfortable but nah fam I am just gonna jack a spaceship and make my drug empire. Also based farm pick. If we have say something like 2075 level of tech from less war being a farmer is going to be pretty cool. A nice farm is easy to operate right now after a few years in job training you will get for existing.
The wealthy explorer scenario is litarelly what you want btw. Some glitterworld citizen leaving for exploratipon and adventure and they start with plenty of supplies too so even tho they wouldnt really understand why they would gladly let you prepare for the journey ahead
Not in the case of Glitterworlds, that's their entire point. On the other hand, Urbworlds are confirmed to hide human-sacrificing cult deep underneath.
I don't think the transcendent world is unlivable. It remains the home of an archotech. So yes, if the archotech wants you dead. It's not an F but a Z in terms of habitability But if he's benevolent, he could probably keep a segment of the planet for human beings, offering them even better living conditions than on a glitterworld. so there you have it, archotech remains for me the only one that cannot be classified because.... Well archotech
i would say that transcendent worlds will be either f tier or s tier with no in-between. if the archotech is benevolent, i could see it allowing humanity to live and thrive on its "body", providing them with whatever they desire. of the archotech is evil or just doesn't care, it's probably gonna be f tier though.
So essentially a 50/50. I would agree with that if it were not that there are still no reports of humans ever living on transcendent worlds, although it could have happened and it was simply never documented.
@@thenightarchives4148 i mean, we DO have documented proof that some archotechs WILL allow people to live on them without killing them, though. they just wipe their memories when they leave, which is honestly pretty fair.
Considering how many colonists I've found with medieval backstories in base-game, I'd say medieval worlds are probably better than you make them out to be but still not great.

Dino worlds are part of the lore? And if they are why haven't we had more dinosaurs added to the game or any at all that would be a cool update DLC
They are part of the lore due to the existence of the Megasloth, which was a pretty old animal too brought back by scientists, similarly to dinosaurs.
