For a native English speaker learning German, this is one of the very best, highest quality presentations I've ever seen. The visual, your voice, and without a lot of unnecessary distractions. Bravo! And thank you / cheers
I cannot believe how helpful this video is! You’re really amazing at teaching, it’s very simple and easy to understand! Definitely deserves WAY more views.
Although simply echoing others comments, I am compelled to agree. This is some of the best lanuage explanation I have seen and I have quite a few miles on the clock. I am relearning english at the same time as learning german.
Simply "Amazing" videos!! How I wish I had known about these videos before my exams today! You just simplify everything my German teacher couldnt really tell me and make life easy for me. I thought German Language is boaring to learn but you just changed my perception. Thank you so very much!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have a midtern tomorrow and I was struggling with past tense. You just explained it in 9 minutes better than how the teacher explained it in 3 weeks!
So super classes you have also it's very simple and tricky.... Thanks a lot for all this efforts you are taking to improve others German..❤ God will surely reward you❤❤❤❤
I have a test in little over a week that will determine if I can move onto next class or if I will be held back a year, I'm so anoxious tbh. It will be Bildbeschreibung (picture / comic description) in past tense so this video was very helpful for me to remind myself of it + my teacher never explained usage of sein and haben depands on movements!! Right now I'm focusing on past tense but your channel seems like something that will definitely help me with german lerning in future so I'm subscribing. Thank you for the clear explanation!
I was trying to brush up on my German (I had studied it in school a few years ago) and I always had trouble with the conjugation and word order. This is the best explanation I have ever seen for sure.
Explaining the structure of the German Perfekt tense by comparing it to the Present Perfect tense is good. But it may backfire if you consider how the two tenses are used.
Just today I studied Past tense in my duetch course, here I was looking for a Video which could explain me this tense even better and I found this Video quite helpful.
These whiteboard videos are really good and reaching well. Other RUclipsrs usually explaining too fast and this was my main problem until I found this channel. But it seems like you guys stopped producing more. It would be great to see more like these.
Great question! It depends on the conjunction. So if it's a "co-ordinating" conjunction (i.e. it starts a clause of equal rank with the other clause) then the word order stays the same. Example using "und": Ich bin intelligent und ich habe Deutsch gelernt". But if it's a "subordinating" conjunction (i.e. it starts a clause of lesser rank, or it depends on the other clause to make sense) then the first verb (i.e. the helping verb) goes to the end of the clause. Example using "weil": Ich bin müde, weil ich Fußball gespielt habe." Hope that helps!
Damm. I have never seen an explanation like that in any other site. This is one of the best examples I have seen it by far.
Glad to help out! Thanks for the encouragement.

What are the rules if you add a conjuction after the first phrase? what happens to the word order?
Great question! It depends on the conjunction. So if it's a "co-ordinating" conjunction (i.e. it starts a clause of equal rank with the other clause) then the word order stays the same. Example using "und": Ich bin intelligent und ich habe Deutsch gelernt". Example using "weil": Ich bin müde, weil ich Fußball gespielt habe." Hope that helps!
