    Full wave rectifier
    A full wave rectifier is a type of rectifier which converts both half cycles of the AC signal into pulsating DC signal.
    The full wave rectifier is further classified into two types: center tapped full wave rectifier and full wave bridge rectifier.
    In this tutorial, Bridge Type full wave rectifier is explained.

    Great explanation sir . I have one doubt - the PIV of bridge type FWR is only Vm n not 2Vm , why?
    The voltage across reverse biased diode is Vm and also at the load resistor RL there is load voltage Vm so total would be 2Vm ....Why should we ignore the load voltage Vm

    Full wave Rectifyre drops only 1.4 volt because two diod are used in a cycle.
