- In this Physics (Digital Electronics) video lecture in Hindi we explained the working of Full Wave Bridge Rectifier with the explanation on its circuit connection.
Rectifier converts alternating current (A.C.) into direct current (D.C.). So, simply, rectifier is an AC to DC converter.
Half wave rectifier converts half wave of the ac input into output.
Full wave rectifier converts full wave of the ac input into output.
Full Wave Bridge Rectifier is a special kind of full wave rectifier. It has four p-n junctions (diodes) in its circuit attached in a special manner.

Sir i have one doubt please help me to clear it :- jab T/F se vlotage step down ho ke 5-12v ki hoke rectifier circuit me jaati hai, aur jab reverse biasing hoti hai.... To us time rectifier me reverse biased wala doide khrab kiu nhi hota..... Coz we know... Silicon 0.7v and germanium 0.3v pe hi breakdown ho jaata hai......

Sir , if we use full wave bridge rectifier then the current becomes unidirectional but pulsating.
If I want to charge my phone then I have to use filter circuits . And You didn't give any discription about filters

# 1. Nahi diode 230 V support nahi karega. Iske liye voltage ko pahle transformer se ghatana parega.
# 2. Resistance relatively kafi zyaada hai.
