Yes I just had to let one fade off recently. I actually was good friends with his sister. He and I knew of each other and was cordial but that's it. Anyways, he caught me at kinda a vulnerable time in my life. And I had recently broke up with my boyfriend (like 7 months prior). I NEVER should have moved forward with him but he came off so "nice".
Wasn't pushy, gave me money, took me out, ALL that was good! But I started to see how when things didn't go "his way" he would get distant and leave sometimes. And would make me question the "relationship". He told his mom, friends, about me. Even took me to his church, went to his home, and he was telling me he loved me ONLY after 2 months of dating. But yet and still something just didn't seem right. He had this way of making me feel like he could do WITHOUT ME if he had to. And wanted me to initiate contact even if he caused conflict between us. I got tired of the HOT and COLD behavior. I'm not about to be played like a yo yo! 3 months of that was enough for me. So like Chris Breezy I chucked up those Douches! I'm getting older I don't have time to waste. Your either serious or your not!

When I want to be with someone I am mostly kind because thats love and kindness includes patience, understanding and selflessness. But before I even how those to then I test them first by acting all the opposite of kindness(without hurting then physically of course that's not love anymore) I mean pretending to be insecure, cold, narcissist, jealous, impatience and clingy if they leave it's not true love, but if they pass through those and love me more that's real and made the final one my husband out of those test (he doesn't knows and no one knows) but yet he never left me no matter what and never intended to hurt me he just walks out and fix things with me later. Girlfriends if you meet a man like this I mentioned he's a keeper :)
Absolute BS! Why play all those games? Just be yourself, no need to pretend. It's very possible that people who would stick around in such a situation are doing it out of lust, and simply after your body. You don't know it's true love by pretending to to be insecure and so on, you know it's true love when you're loved for who you are. Don't give the ladies wrong advice. Be mature and don't play games!
+Francium Oxide Agreed 100%. No way in hell would I ever pretend to be insecure (why would anyone in their right mind pretend to have one the worst character flaws ever??) or anything else, for that matter. It's one thing to be cautious in the beginning, but that's different than pretending.
