Spider-Man: The Movie. I was really into stealth games at the time and spiderman is my favorite superhero and the movie came out and got everyone excited, so that game was the perfect storm for my 11 year old self. The fact that you could unlock a green goblin character from an alternate universe and play the entire game using the glider and bombs and all the tricks from the movie.... the mofo sweetest icing on the cake you can imagine
This list is pretty much perfect, every game belongs exactly where it is out. I also remember these games fondly, and i appreciate the mentioning of the awesome spiderman cartoon!

The other obvious choice for favorite superhero game for me would be Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and X-men Legends). But if you're looking for something less obvious but evenly awesome... "Sentinels of the Multiverse". I just can't praise this game enough. For it's cheesy, but awesome theme, design, absolutely fantastic soundtrack and of course gameplay. If you're even remotely interested in card games, it's a must.
One of my favorite Spiderman games was the first movie one. It was sort of a spiritual successor to the PS1 game in that it had the same combat system and powers, but followed a looser version of the first movie's storyline and had the web-swinging mechanics changed. Travel wasn't nearly as deep as the PS1 game or the second movie game, but it was a very no-fuss-no-muss version where you just swung wherever and could focus on other things, making the air combat really engrossing. The original plot of the film felt kinda Bleh to me as a child, so seeing they added TOOOONS of new shit to it was really good. Vulture, Shocker, Scorpion, a segment where you raid Oscorp in retaliation for being attacked by Hunter-Killer droids, it was a really engrossing plot that made the final confrontation with Green Goblin feel better-paced.
Oh man, maximum carnage... Never could finish it. Also web of shadows was great, since it was basically a reskinned prototype. Favorite superhero game is hard, not too many that did it right, but of course batman arkham asylum and the second and also enjoyed the punisher pc game
