Personally i think Zack Galifianakis did a great job with the version of the joker he was given and i think he nailed the angry ex boyfriend vibe of the lego joker

Definitely. Personally it’s not my favorite, should be obvious, but Jeff Bennett really hit the nail with joker in brave the and the bold, really captures the silver age vibes of the show.

I was so surprised with how good John Dimaggio's Joker was. Going from deadpan to violent psychopath to dropping a flippant joke in one fluid take was just chef's kiss.

That was Anthony Ingruber! He's an extremely talented impressionist who became very well known online for his Harrison Ford/Indiana Jones impression because he looks SO MUCH like a young Harrison Ford. He even got to play the young version of Harrison Ford's character in Age of Adaline. I'm glad he didn't go for an out-and-out Mark Hamill impression. DiMaggio understood that to party Joker, you have to dig down into that part of yourself that you keep hidden. A part that all humans are capable of falling into. The unhinged, the immoral, and the broken. Joker wants Batman to kill him - he wants to prove that his own bad day could turn anyone into another Joker. Especially in that Under the Red Hood movie. And that's what I like about his performance. He draws not just on Mark Hammel, he also drew on the Joker from the 60's show, Cesar Romero. He also made the laugh his own and used different varieties of it. I think one of the better ones was from his "negotiations" with Black Mask.

I know Brent Spiner’s Joker definitely isn’t for anyone but I definitely would recommend his performance in Batman The Audio Adventures. They let him be more lowkey, smoother, more of a creepy clown while also just having him be written to be genuinely funny and threatening which Spiner’s textured old man voice is more fit for, definitely recommend checking it out for at least little bit

Someone who isnt mentioned here and I think is quite underrated is Jeff Bennett in Batman the brave and the bold. His take on joker is different but I found it very well done, veering off from the usual mark hamil type voice.
Honestly, I think it's safe to say that once Hamill passes away, Troy Baker is next in line for the throne for the clown Prince of crime's definitive voice.
Troy Baker is the best active Joker Voice actor Mark Hamill doesn't need to die for him to be the best active voice. Mark Hamill will always be the best to me though until I hear someone who is as good or better.
Troy Baker in the Suicide Squad: Attack On Arkham animated movie was surprisingly really good. Up there for me. He sounded pretty damn close to Mark Hamil yet not identical. I loved it.

I always like surprising people with the fact that the iconic Joker was portrayed by Mark Hamel. My dad has been into Batman since the comical Adam West Batman TV show. He didn't believe me until I showed him a clip Mark doing the voice. He just said "Huh...."
I like that we get Mark Hamil out of the question immediately, since it really isn’t even close if he’s actually competing. Makes the video actually interesting and less predictable
Kevin Michael Richardson has to be my favorite, I mean man really took the chaos of the Joker to an extreme that honestly makes me want to see him voice act Joker again
Mark Hamel and John DiMaggio are Joker for me, especially John, dude was fantastic as the clown Prince of crime in the Red Hoo and Death in the Family movie
it's kinda unrelated but in my country(Iran) joker's Persian dub is always too goofy or too serious until we got a dub for under the Red hood and the voice actor for the Joker (Taher Mir Mazloumie) was so scary that the movie got +16 rating in a country that rated raid and John Wick +16 as well, and he never voiced the joker ever again he explained that in his mind Jokers laughter and mannerisms are not based on insanity but actually he is a genius, his laughter is not creepy because he is insane, his laughter is creepy because he wants you to be afraid. it's really interesting to me that some random guy in a random country had such an amazing concept of the character, too bad he never voiced the joker because his daughter was scared of him for a week

Richardson's Joker for The Batman is amazing, I LOVE that voice, and i love that Joker, should be pointed out this was like... Three years after Bruce dawned the bat cowl, showing that he's not a full on batman, matter of fact, Joker, Penguin, and any others that would seem older, are younger in this installment, showing that this is Bruce Wayne's early years of being the Batman.
I always like surprising people with the fact that the iconic Joker was portrayed by Mark Hamel. My dad has been into Batman since the comical Adam West Batman TV show. He didn't believe me until I showed him a clip Mark doing the voice. He just said "Huh...."
And when he made us says say WTF💀💀💀 1:46
these actors just do what the DIRECTOR wants. It's the director that decides what Joker sounds like.
Zach’s joker was amazing wtf!!
Youngg justice is one of my favorite animated series. It deserves more.
I like that we get Mark Hamil out of the question immediately, since it really isn’t even close if he’s actually competing. Makes the video actually interesting and less predictable
Great list but man I wish you had included the unusual Telltale Joker. Fucking loved him. Probably my fav Joker.
Troy is legendary! I loved him as Batman in Telltale!
I am binging Batman 2008 like crazy. Crazy? Joker's crazy. Joker was locked in Arkham. Arkham's got some crazy folks. Crazy? Joker's crazy....
I actually liked Zach Galifagagaga's Joker
I feel like this guy doesn't know that script writers are the ones that decided what joker is gonna be like
You can still get a good performance with bad writing. You can't fix a bad performance.
Im tha joker babyyyy
I'm partial to Michael Emerson.
injustice movie joker sounds like if pennywise put in a joker costume
Kevin Michael Richardson has to be my favorite, I mean man really took the chaos of the Joker to an extreme that honestly makes me want to see him voice act Joker again
Calling Jake a lovable jerk is crazy, there’s nothin jerk about Jake
@@pinappizzayumyum6390 “Nah, we’re more like Cops. Crooked Cops!” -Jake in the ep “The Duke”
That jerk behavior lmao
@@SoxatSea touché…
Mark Hamel and John DiMaggio are Joker for me, especially John, dude was fantastic as the clown Prince of crime in the Red Hoo and Death in the Family movie
I just have to say I agree to all the best choices.
Especially Troy Baker
The Beatles were so prominent that they even inspired a Jedi knight to start voice acting a psychopath clown struggling with masochist homosexuality
it's kinda unrelated but in my country(Iran) joker's Persian dub is always too goofy or too serious until we got a dub for under the Red hood and the voice actor for the Joker (Taher Mir Mazloumie) was so scary that the movie got +16 rating in a country that rated raid and John Wick +16 as well, and he never voiced the joker ever again
he explained that in his mind Jokers laughter and mannerisms are not based on insanity but actually he is a genius, his laughter is not creepy because he is insane, his laughter is creepy because he wants you to be afraid.
it's really interesting to me that some random guy in a random country had such an amazing concept of the character, too bad he never voiced the joker because his daughter was scared of him for a week
Yooo that really cool, I never thought what other langue’s Jokers experiences were like. I gotta look up the Persian dub.
@@SoxatSea believe it or not dubbing in my country is one of the hardest work because they want to literally own the media they are dubbing and I say this with absolutely no bias persian dubs some times out shine the original, and yes you really should look for under the red hood Persian dub, I can even direct you to some... bays lets say... to check it out
When you take all the good joker voices, from Mark to the more serious and uncanny ones like Micheal, that is the true joker, there is no one good actor that sums joker’s character as a whole it is much more complex than that
That Harley performance in Lego is the worst thing, ever.
