- Walk downtown Clearwater starting at the Church Of Scientology Flag Building headquarters, pass by Fort Harrison hotel, City Hall, and the Intracoastal, before walking the length of historic Cleveland Street.
That tax exception for religious organizations needs to go away.
Vote for Mark Bunker for Clearwater City Council!
It’s a cult, not a religion. Thanks for the tour 😊
All religions are cults
@@ShieedI wouldn't go that far however I believe a lot of people join in a religion bc they want something better after death bc there to scared to accept that there's nothing
@@dayganthomas6466 I live in Tampa, just across Tampa Bay from Clearwater.
She's right, it a cult-type religion.
Travolta drives like an idiot!
They are all cults don't get that Messed up
Religions are cults
"Today is a good day not to be in a cult." A-ARON
I spent a number of years in those buildings as a sea org member. thanks for the tour and update.
Absolutely haunting to see such a beautiful but essentially empty downtown. The day after Thanksgiving is normally such a busy time for shopping so this emptiness is creepy on another level...
Scientology created by a science fiction writer, that is perfect inspiration for a Stephen King horror movie. 🤔
I once walked into a Sushi bar in Clearwater beach, and much to my surprise, Hulk Hogan was there accompanied with a friend.
I lived in Clearwater 30 years ago and the takeover had already started.
Can the “city sue”… for separation of church and state..since real estate is not in use and causing a vacuum in revenue.. forcing services to be cut back for tax paying citizens of the city. maybe challenge their tax exempts status …
How can it be a tax exempt organization when it is not open to the public to attend?
They're the city they hold the power they won't be leaving anytime soon.
What a great tour! Born and raised here i have seen it all but learned alot from ur walk...awesome work. STAMP OUT SCIENTOLOGY!
@@Kane_B2 thank you. I appreciate that.
@@RurbanWalker it was interesting to see the foundation for Lisa's video showing how deep Soo many of the cpd are deep in the pockets of this abomination. Including our wonderful chief Slaughter..
There needs to be more Scientology protest. I watch Scientology Audit Streets LA and I’m finally seeing the downfall of Scientology. Mark Bunker is doing a great job in Clearwater keeping Scientology in line.
It’s criminal what they’ve done to Clearwater
Where are the people? I imagine they are hubbled in tunnels running between buildings never seeing the light of day
Thank you for informing us about Scientology taking over one of the U.S towns, it is a disease that the are treating the whole town like crap. They also have a bunch of deaths to answer.🙏🙏
yes its everything these guys say about the cult city ruclips.net/video/d3gLe_I2AIk/видео.html
Thank you for all the interesting info.
I live in Clearwater and I walk in that same area where you are.IMO the church wishes to actually control the whole area just for their own use. Scientologists are not unfriendly but you can tell they kind of wish you weren't there when you encounter them walking around. They're not hostile, just not welcoming.
They try to do things to include the community like a winter festival (that I think they still do, not sure), but I don't think the community is interested. And these events are not well attended by non-scientologists. People are sketched-out by them in general. As a resident non-scientologist I don't really care one way or another, but I know the city hates it because of the lost tax revenue , and the way the local economy is depressed. On the other hand when you see how over-developed the beach is, and how over-developed St. Pete is becoming (yes lively but way too over-developed) I kind of am glad for their "depressing" influence.
Intercepted right off by the Scientology security. What a surprise. I live near here and these people are creepy.
A religion founded by a science fiction writer.??
So fun fact. The adjacent building connected by a bridge was the Ft Harrison hotel. In 1965, The Rolling Stones toured in Clearwater and stayed at the Ft Harrison hotel. In that hotel, they wrote the some “Satisfaction”. Apparently the room service was questionable.
Lol
Many of the buildings in downtown have windows papered with the same real estate groups so it looks like there are plans in place for significant rehab. It is nice to see rehab vs. tear downs. Still lots of empty buildings. What % of the city's population is seasonal? Snow birds usually arrive after December. Interesting video.
Nothing in your video was unfair. Nice tour
Thank you.
Yeah, they've owned that city for decades bud. I've built many homes there and worked around the block many times and we also sold crack on Cleveland St. It's funny you mentioned Cleveland St right when I was spelling it out! 🤣 That was back in 98 as well, up on the hill passed the pool hall. Made a lot of bread and know a lot about the area.
Jawbreakers fear this man!
Thanks for your video
Nice brother! I’m a fellow walker🥳
Great walkthrough
Do “churches” pay property taxes ? If the answer is no, this could break a city.
no...& this one is a Cult.
No scientology buildings are tax exempt. They literally targeted and blackmailed individuals in the IRS to get their tax exempt status.
I've been sooooo curious about this! Thank you! More?
Definitely not suspicious or sketchy at all that you aren’t allowed to look or go inside of those buildings. Even the windows are blocked
That's not true. I have been in the buildings very nice .
Just Downtown, they have no influence inland or on the beaches. I have lived here since 1992 as a kid we use to screw with them. They don't exist to most of us here and are ignored.
Wow, what a great tour! Ive been so curious to see what Clearwater is like.
Stay away from the cult
A lot of nice Beaches and a great place to live They don't effect my life but they are a evil cut
Find out what's going on in that big metal Scientology building on the corner of Hercules and Calumet. Weird and creepy place, very big, only one door and no windows. Perhaps Scientology prison?
Its a warehouse, ive been in it
@@WolfLarson Did they have you in a cell?

Zombies Roam ~ Clearwater Destroyed.................
That building is no church
It’s eerily quiet.
Clearwater is also the spring training home of MLB Philadelphia Phillies
Enjoyed the tour. Its very quiet. What time of day was your walk?
It looked more used and vibrant back in the days of the Woolworth building!
It's a pretty town and a shame the residents are blocked from so many areas especially as they don't appear to be using much of it themselves either.
Hopefully Mark Bunker will get elected and get things moving.
I see many viewers have suggested a reach out to A-aron's channel he's an ex scn and dud run for council too and has often spoken about the blockade of Clearwater by SCN.
It was about 10:30 or 11am the day after Thanksgiving. I agree. With its location, it would have the potential to be utilized so much more.
totally agree its Scientology city of cult the whole city not not just downtown
300th subscriber!
@GerzonChon Thanks for subscribing!!! Hopefully I can get a couple of hundred more 😀
The south does love their churches.😊
on the hunt for Xenu!
ALL HAIL XENU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
creepy as hell,
tax the fake church make clearwater great again
Go to Salt Lake City and tell me more
Clearwater is not the “International Headquarters of Scientology.” The International Headquarters of Scientology is in Hemet, California.
Clearwater Scientology city of cult is the Mecca of Scientology leading in all America for Pedophilia Rape and human trafficking they are rated 8 in the Nation
you are talking to an OG ex cult member. he knows WAY more than you.@@jerrymcguire8371
Have them go there please
You, Bobby Kennedy Grand Child, DON'T LIE !!!!
Waste of what used to be an amazing downtown. I'm 15 minutes away and I never go near the area except maybe for a show at Capitol Theatre. The whole city should be booming, but everything north of Court Street is a creepy ghost town full of intentionally vacant storefronts.
Agreed
Other than the daily Scieno foot-traffic in the immediate downtown area,
downtown Clearwater is otherwise rather 'dead' most of the time, otherwise.
"dead properties" "quite unusual"?
It's been like that downtown for a long time, yo.
Sometimes you wonder what councilman or senator or mayor or all of the above who agreed to let them buy pretty much all of clearwater beach prime property without taxpayers consent or knowledge, some dirtbag (or dirtbags) made a lot of moola 😞
America!
I worked at Fort Harrison for 10 years, and it used to be much more open to the general public. During my time there, I witnessed many instances of people entering the property with ill intentions, causing trouble and whatnot. On many occasions, individuals, including members of the press attempted to get in with cameras. Unfortunately, this may have spoiled the experience for genuinely curious visitors. However, if you're interested in learning more, you are welcome to visit the receptionist and ask questions-just avoid aiming a camera at them while doing so.
send in code enforcement
where's all the clubs and bars?
@chrishepp4429 not much of that there. There is at least one bar on Cleveland Street, but it was early during this walk, so it wasn't yet open.
Downtown Clearwater is rather 'dead' most of the time.
All the action in at the Pier60 area around the beaches.
Scienos pretty much run downtown.
Not here in Tampa
Saint Petersburg
Not a lot of that in this area. There is some stuff around the Capitol Theater. There are a few restaurants that are still there. You want nightlife you cross the bridge and head for the beaches
Honestly wild things like this can happen in the United States.
I have a grim curiosity about it.
Floriduh* will become a series of islands.
Holy t.m.g
omg i had no idea, i will stay away from clearwater for sure now, i live in se florida. Plus I hate tom cruise. who pays taxes there????
Clearwater is a lot bigger than just Downtown there a still great beaches that they don't go to they just stay in their area
Very nice quick tour of downtown clearwater. I live not far away and have been there or passed through there quite a few times. It is nice, clean, safe, peaceful and quiet. I cant recall a single incident where I ran into a rude or disagreeable Scientologist. Followers of this religion that I have encountered so far simply seem like decent people without any weird or creepy vibe about them. It seems they are selective about whom they lease their property to, and you can certainly argue that they are too selective and that there is room to liven things up a bit more.
With regards to Scientology in general, I see them as part exclusive club, part cult, part Pyramid scheme and part legitimate religion. I can't say I ever supported the notion of buying your way into heaven, but their focus on learning and achievement I think has a positive influence on members.
There is nothing good about Scientology
Given options - they won't even talk to anyone else (even on the street) - that isn't one of them.
Its not about going to heaven, it's going to a higher power. Going to a place that not many can travel to open up your chakras anitger eye in your mind. To make you believe there is more to being mad at the world just because they don't agree with you. I personally like them. I find them interesting people. They are smart.
I enjoy positive. No negative in anything.
We talk to anyone
@@themeparkcheetahI’m not into cults or anything of the like however, there is a ton of self help going on in there. It’s how they lure people into giving them their finances. Providing solutions to desperate peoples simple problems is their hook.
Been around forever… come on where ya been😂😂😂
you barely even see them this is for clicks, I live less than a mile from where he is and they have never even spoken to me once.
You're better off that they don't speak to you .
Stay clear from those creepy people.
muscavish b/fing tom cruse
Actually, seems like an incredibly peaceful clean place to live. Maybe you should go hang out in downtown Philly and see which place you would choose.😂 seems like you can do something better with your time guy
Sweetie businesses have taken over towns and cities in the past and today. So have religions, ect. The fact you seem shocked is really kind of wierd. A few examples for you Corning New York, Hersey Pennsylvania. Lancaster County is Amish central with the largest concentration and oldest community of Amish in America. Ever heard of Salt Lake City between 49%-30% of the population is a practicing Mormon. I know it shocking that people who religiously believe something would "gasp" live in the same area be it county, city, or state. Who knew banding together would also bring political power or wealth. In America you get to do that kind of stuff, it was so important that the First Amendment was created for it. Iknow shocking...
lol this reply is straight out of scientology's playbook. I've seen similar bots post the exact same comments on other videos. Of course, they ignore the fact about how the amish and mormons actually cooperate with local government.
Only Clearwater is rated 8 in America for Pedophilia rape and Human trafficking with no one down there but Scientology city of cult you should join a billion years contract on a body transplant operation with the likeness of repossession
You are very unfair to these people. You all don't know nothing about. Learn about what they are before you say that are a cult Which they are NOT!!
All hail Xenu!
How much money have you gave them you brainwashed fool? Even the founder admitted the story was made up. Please don't breed!
Cult Cult Cult it's common knowledge duh.
Diarrhea
Downtown and Clearwater is a beautiful city. Come and see. We love it here. My family are not Scientologists, but we are friends with some and that is okay. We love our neighbors and live and let live.
@@brookehartley5085 I call bullshit!! You must be a Scientologist or getting ready to get indoctrinated. I live near this ghost-town too. The entire Tampa Bay Area has prospered post-pandemic with Downtown Clearwater still being held hostage!! Neighboring Clearwater Bench, Dunedin, Largo, Pinellas, and St. Pete have been booming while this surreal and miserable place just purposely keeps life and growth away from average Floridians.
My name is Shelly and I’ve been locked in the basement of that building for the last decade. It’s beautiful here!
