Two nice areas--thanks for sharing. We enjoy taking the Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport--our favorite NC restaurant is there and when visiting family in the Wilmington area the ferry is a nice way to get to S'port.
We thought about taking the ferry just for the experience, but it would have taken us longer to get home from Southport than if we drove back from Fort Fisher, so we didn't take it. Maybe next time. What is your favorite restaurant?
