Conchita, I have been making tortillas for many, many years however I like to watch videos because you Ever know what someone else might have discovered!!
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that this is the BEST EVER video on tortilla making I have ever seen. You are an extremely good instructor because you take things slow and really show people how you are doing something. I have subscribed to your channel and wish you well on it!!
And telling people that the important thing is just to try, well that was awesome and I am sure it gave others confidence to try. I agree with you - I have been told many times by others that they never wanted to try to make tortillas because they wouldn’t be round, well I tell them that growing up, my family used to say mine looked like the state of Texas (where I am from). 😂😂
    Blessings to you and yours.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thanks for sharing, I make daily and wanted to share with you if you add little bit of flour while kneading so your dough is not sticky when you're finish kneading it, I find if I use flour to the teatales I have a harder time rolling it out, also for me I feel like you can taste the flour unless you really have to make sure you don't forget to shake off the extra. But I'm glad you are sharing your way to make then, thanks again! Not criticising just sharing my experience.

I just found this video today and love the little tips you threw in. I sifted the flour and immediately thought “that is much better than just dumping out flour.” Also, weighing it was accurate, the # of cups was not. And, going with the texture and water instead of just using two cups of water was spot on. I had water left over from the 2 cups. Also, rolling from the middle was a nice tip, too. Thanks so much!

It was made with olive oil, baking powder, water and flour. What I want is souple tortillas and be able to have some in fridge for rapid consume like sandwich or even pizza 🍕 support it is a great option to eat pizza and don’t get fat 😉👍 The secret is to put lard or shortening. My grandma used to cook with lard and once I made Christmas cookies with lard. I forgot them and found them 6 months later in special metal box I put cookies in and guess what ? They were perfectly fine and we ate them. Incredible so I knew then why my grandma used to cook with it. I will do these tortillas but I know that they will be perfect 👌Thank you 1 000 000 times 💕💖💕 Love from France 🇫🇷🙋🏻‍♀️🙌💫😘😘😘

Thank you so much for letting me know 👍🏼 the recipe is
      500 grams all purpose flour
      5-6 Tbs vegetable shortening
1Tbs salt ( you can use less if you want)
Water it needs to be warm to almost hot ( you need to be able to handle the temperature)
the amount of water depends on what type of flour you are using and also we’re you live ocean level or the mountains. My advice to you is add water until your dough is nice and soft to the touch 👍🏼😉
