Good morning. I love your video! I have rebuilt my TH350 and have some experience with installing transmissions. I have a question about bolting the torque converter to the flexplate.... Since the torque converter sags ever so slightly from its own weight when resting in the transmission, prior to bolting to the flexplate,, should you lift it up ever so slightly (take the weight off) as you tighten the first torque converter to flexplate bolt? Or just pull it forward and bolt up without lifting on it?
hi, do the first bolt upto the driveplate but keep loose, then you can tighten the rest as you go, making sure to tighten up the loose/last one as you finish. sometimes we leave two bolts loose so the other bolt holes line up better - not so much of an issue with studs on torque converter. cheers

how much fluid do you put in a torque converter?
