You should be able to find a few glue bottles around the first couple of areas

I duplicate gold! I can buy what ever i need and its better once you get the fourth level of the strong man perk. That way you can fast travel with thousands of gold.

Your companion can usually carry at least 1k gold, which is worth at least 5000 caps. Buy up all ammo for easy carrying of caps when the shop runs out of money. Lovely
