Note: next to the bank there is also a Super Duper Mart where you can find a +1 charisma Trilby Hat to the right. Additional there is a Tales of a Junk Town Vendor magazine which also gives a slight boost to buying prices. You may be dealing with ghouls though, but it might be worth it to maximize the ammo you can buy.
Poking around is dangerous. There’s a completely safe route, once you know the layout. Straight past checkout registers. Angle to right, skirting the cafe. Against the far wall is a magazine rack, with the magazine.
You could take a short detour once inside the vault to donate blood to the doctor. With the high carisma you can get alot of caps from it to get abit more ammo. Probably takes one min extra or so..
Another note: you might not find a +2 charisma suit/dress in that exact place. Search dressers and suitcases in other houses. You will almost certainly get one.
I also make a beeline to get the Overseer's Guardian before doing anything that requires fighting. I spend a bit more time gathering stuff to sell, after all, we're going to have that fantastic charisma, so best take advantage of it. When I leave vault 81, I not only have the Overseer's Guardian, but I've cleaned her out of 45 ammo and caps as well. Last run, I bought a shipment of ballistic fiber as well. I didn't do that in fifteen minutes mind you. But I am not in a hurry.
I recommend doing it your way. This 15 minutes was more of a proof of concept. I would definitely spend a few more minutes gathering things in a normal playthrough.
I would recommend if you are going to make this run, spend a few more minutes gathering stuff to sell. Buy the Overseer's Guardian, the Destroyer's right leg (also sold by Alexis) and the Spray and Pray all at the same time. The Spray and Pray is sold by cricket and she can randomly spawn outside the entrance to value 81. If she is not there when you show up wait on a chair or sleep on a mattress for 24 hours. Repeat until she shows up.
I also got the minigun from Ack Ack at the satellite and the Fat Man from the Disposal Grounds. Got the fashionable glasses and the trilby hat and sold the wedding rings as well. Got the spray n pray and overseer's guadrian in aboit 30 min with cricket being outside the vault
Thanks for the video but I was hoping to see it in use specifically after the new update some players are claiming that the double shot legendary is broken in vats
I haven’t seen any official confirmation. But know for a fact, the overseers guardian, along with the two shot legendary effect have been nerfed in V.A.T.S.
I haven't done testing. But I would be careful with using "for a fact" without official confirmation through actual data collection or confirmation from Bethesda.
I never knew everyone loved this weapon so much its my favorite for most of the game after points in i think its rifleman at max with just powerful mod this weapon has like 180 or 190 dam + its extra round so this weapon is a beast. Great fast run you looked like Distortion speed running LOL.
Juat started my first Survival playthrough (vanilla) and bet your ass I went straight for this gun lol. On that note would absolutely love a beginner Survival guide
Overseer’s Guardian is amazing. Along with the Spray n’ Pray. Two weapons you should wean yourself off of. Keep the game challenging! (Yes, even Survival)
This with the power armor trick would've saved me A LOT of time on my hardcore survival runs Hopefully you'll blow up with the attention fallout is getting now
Can you still get it if you haven't found it? Im like level 14 or 15 just starting to get into fallout 4 and im loving it im currently in diamond city doing the quest to find my son after killing Kellogg or however you spell his name that gives you a revolver
@@TheEfficientGamer hey can you do videos on how to get the good weapons like the splattercannon and spray and pray for the new noobs that are starting fallout 4 I'm going to subscribe to you brother
Got back into FO4 recently, like a lot of folks, and heard about this gun around the same time. First time I used it I was amazed at how effective it is, especially with the right perks and mods. Pretty much all you need, especially if you manufacture your own .308 ammo! This and the Two Shot rifle are pretty much all I use. At this point I just sell my extra .308 to buy 7.62 .
Max charisma is a waste unless youre really wanting to use the weird perks. 6 charisma is the highest i go and thats if i want local leader for settlement building. As you can see from the video, you can use apparel and chems to pretty much max out your character.
Overseer's guardian is definetly one of the best guns in the game, but i dont think its the best. Radium Rifle deals much more damage for me. Whenever possible i try to get Splattercannon from Nuka World DLC - that gun is definetly best gun hands down. It does about the same damage as Radium rifle, but doesnt have problems dealing with radiation immunes (ghouls, robots, synths, turrents mostly). And most importantly theres basically no recoil on splattercannon. You can shoot from very long range with automatic mod on and kill multiple avarage hp enemies (3-5 at a time) with just 1 clip - 75 ammo in clip. I value Overseers guardian 2x or even 3x worse then Splattercannon and substentially worse then radium rifle (perhaps 30-50% decrease in dps). But if you cant get splattercannon early on then you can switch to Overseers against robots and ghouls. Or just take a rocket launcher and blast them haha! I think its possible to get Splattercannon at lvl 1 or 2 theoretically. But its very hard. I got it last playtrough at lvl 23 i think and it was pretty easy to kill the Overboss with Radium rifle by that level. That was before the quest for Nuka World kicked in at lvl 30. Nevertheless thanks for the guide how to obtain it and especially in 15 minutes:). Early on its fantastic - mostly 1-2 shots every low level enemy on semi-auto mod. Can you show us how to get Splattercannon as soon as possible? Id be interested in that. Is it really possible at lvl 1? I imagine 10mm Pistol and many stimpaks/food/jet. Perhaps 10 END needed. Also what to do with ammo problem? Is it possible to get enough money to buy lots of ammo for it? I think thats much harder challange, but have hope it can be done. P.S. At the end i heard you say - one of the best weapons. So perhaps you didnt mean its the best. Im sorry if i misunderstood. Many people on youtube say that its the best.
1. No it's not. Kneecapper is niche and overrated. You don't need to worry about crippling your target's legs if it's already dead. 2. Good luck getting a kneecapper legendary prefix on a gun without using mods early in the game.
Kneecapper is mostly for boss type enemies, while Two Shot is great against everything You don't need to cripple a target if you can just one-hit-kill it outright with high DMG, which the OG offers, but not Kneecapper weapons Surely you don't think crippling the legs of weak enemies like Bloatflies and Molerats outclasses the extra DMG output of a 2 shot weapon?
@@fabledblake3281 i think theres a popular video out right now with a dude selling a pipe gun with kneecapper as some crazy overpowered weapon and unfortunately people are falling for it. Really bad clickbait.
Kneecapper is a solid effect. No matter what enemy, no matter the stage of the game, a percent chance to cripple a leg is good. Two-shot vs Kneecapper. It depends on the gun, and situation. Two-shot is better on more guns, and consequently, better against more enemies. But there’s situations where Kneecapper is better. And on some guns is exceptional. There’s a YT video with a Kneecapper Automatic Pipe Gun. Against the biggest of monsters, a quick spray immobilizes them. Cheap ammo lets you unload on hordes, eliminating a phalanx of threats from approaching you any closer. I think he was level 1, for demonstration purposes. Here’s the rub; once you’re high level, and your build complete, you’ll massacre even with normal weapons. Two-shot is better late game. But that leaves a lot of game for Kneecapper to be revenant. You’ll find it does some things extremely well.
Oh no! I am level 58 and never knew about vault 81, this spoiled it for me a little, gotta stop the video now lol, this is what happens when you play fallout 4 without following the story line for 58 levels on a 2015 laptop
Showing how to get the best weapon in the game WITHOUT actually firing it to see what happens is a little bit lame, don't you think? I've watched the entire video to see the weapon in action!
Sorry, it didn’t work out exactly how i wanted because i got less pre war money than expected. I was planning to go kill the Yao Guai outside, but i didnt have enough ammo. In retrospect, i should have kept the vault 111 stuff so i could sell it all for more ammo as well.
What a waste of time.
How is it a waste of time to pick up the best gun in the game?
Getting the best gun in 15 minutes is a waste of time?
Waste of comment.

Good back up option is Ranger Cabin near Abernathy, there's always a Laundered Dress in the suitcase

I've got 100's of hours in the game and literally never had a random encounter on that bridge, very strange.
It's really rare. I've seen the water beggar there before.
Just tried this last night with almost no charisma, worked no problem, they just let me in with the dialogue choice being red. Lucky? Bug?
If you had temporary boosts from the chems, that still works. The dialogue is red, but you’ll pass
