There's a few aftermarket skate liners on sale, but a fair amount of confusion as to what the differences are between models. I give you a rundown of the basic differences to look out for. Featuring the MyFit liners range, the Reign liners and the Intuition V.2 skate liners.
Most of these liners were designed for inline skates (rollerblades), but they can be used in any skate with a shell and a removable liner.

Hi LocoSkates, what liner would you recommend to use with the Rollerblade Twister Edge, the original liners that come with them are too padded in the ancle area giving me lots of pressure, my feet are kinda wide... Which #MyFit liner would you recommend the most for City Skating with my Rollerblade Twister Edge?

What modern liner is most like the old Salomon ST* skate liners?

I am getting a bad pressure point on my inside ankle wearing twister edge skates but only on my right ankle. Would a different liner help?
Heat gun the boot or the the area thats causing the pin and push that prt out with something thick like a small container or pipe to pish the part out my friend, i had the same problem on my left foot

Help! 32 year old, getting back into it. Still have my Dustin Latimer Pro IIs, but the liners are a little worn and a tad tight in the toe. I can barely make out the size liner, but looks like it says 8. Any idea what would work in these old psirus skates? Thanks!

hello, anyone can help me decide wich liner to go in a rollerblade RB? the skate fit good i just dislike the liner (i have normal/narrow feet)
So, i purchased the shifts and theyre tight in the forefoot area, mostly on the top and a little on the sides. length wise theyre fine. Is the 2nd skin liner thinner than the reign liner??
Yep, that could be a fix!
I down sized too far and fit this shell snugly, there's a bit of room but the default liner was far, far too small.
I'm considering stacking socks instead of liner ,thoughts?
That sounds terrifying, but then if you're younger you might be able to take it? I've just found as I've got older I get pain above my ankle where the skate cuff digs in and that's with a liner and extra padding.
All you can do is try it 🤷♂️ I wouldn't have bothered down sizing, unless you're super tech I don't see the obsession!
@@chilli-iceolive-abode2447 It's been working just fine, I may have to heat mold the pinky toes out a bit but other than that I think I'm gonna just get some foam and tape it to a sock and put another sock over it as a jury rigged foam.

I actually taped foam to the top of my liner to create the extra padding. I highly recommend gorrilla tape, normally I wouldn't wanna spend the extra money but it's so strong. It can compress foam as much or as little as you want and sticks instantly to all sorts, cloth, plastic, metal etc.
I've been skating with that tape around the top of my cuff for months and it's not moved at all.

you can never go wrong with true to size on Rollerblade...in my experience

Depends. Length they are pretty regular. Some people find them narrow though, particularly on the instep. Best to judge it on how narrow or wide you consider you feet to be!
