The Demiurge was also known by the Gnostics, an early heretical sect, that believed that God of the Old and New Testaments were different gods, with the old one evil and new one good. The Demiurge was a lion-faced serpent and the evil one, representing all that is physical, base, and sinful.
There's also the earlier Greek view that the Demiurge made the physical world by making imperfect copies of perfect Platonic Ideals. (I'm sure I'm oversimplifying, but it's philosophy, so screw it.)

She's an Oberyth..so are The Queen of Chaos, Ob-ox ob, and Dagon. Technically the Sibriex as well, although they're a lower order of the same species, not strong enough to bring their bodies with from the previous universe. They all literally Pre-date our reality so they share the title of " Oldest" but the Lady of pain has no confirmed connection to them..although it would be wild if she did. And would actually explain allot

Demogorgon is a cool guy and all, but he never stood a chance against our most holy faceless lord.
"Prince of Demons" is not merely self-proclaimed; it marks him as the strongest of the Demon Lords.
In some versions of the lore, there was an actual crown or jewel or something that belonged to Obox-Ob, the first Prince of Demons , that lets Demogorgon control all demons (or most weaker demons at least) that come within something like a thousand miles of him, and that is why the other Demon Lords fear to challenge him- they might be able to resist, but their minions would probably be turned against them.
The "first t'anari" origin is also kind of tragic because it states that he began "life" as a failed experiment of the Obryinth Lord the Lady of Chaos and was discarded, and by the time he got himself together and started marching towards the rest of his new kind, Obox-Ob had been defeated and the other t'anari were fighting amongst themselves for the title of Prince and Demogorgon was a dark horse out of nowhere. He also has kids and a girlfriend who is just using him and he fears betrayal by his "family" most of all as deep, deep down he is just a frightened, needy child with a lot of trauma.
The failed experiment origin also leaves open the possibility that Demogorgon was originally two separate souls that the Lady of Chaos basically sewed together, which would help explain even more why the two heads do not get along with each other.
In an interesting example of parallel development at TSR, after Demogorgon and Orcus appeared in Supplement Three: Eldritch Wizardry, they were incorporated into AD&D in the Monster Manual. At the same time that TSR was developing AD&D, they continued the D&D line with Basic D&D. Because they had appeared in Eldritch Wizardry, Demogorgon and Orcus were included in the Immortals Boxed Set for Basic D&D. Because the two game lines needed to remain separate, Frank Mentzer made changes to Demogorgon. In particular Demogorgon was described as female, and was considered a mortal who achieved immortality, choosing the sphere of Entropy. This remains canon in the Mystara campaign setting. Demogorgon and Orcus appeared again in the Wrath of the Immortals boxed set, where Demogorgon was changed from Female to having a Male and Female aspect in the two different heads.
My personal headcanon is that the Demon Lord Demogorgon knows about the Immortal Demogorgon, and killing them is on the Prince of Demons' to-do list, after killing Orcus and Graz'zt.
Love it. I imagine a quest where you need to get the 2 temple sides of demogorgon to turn destroy one another.

There was a great 12 adventure long campaign about fighting Demogorgon set in Greyhawk, called Savage Tide published in Dungeon Mag back in the mid 2000s
Demogorgon is my Endgame villain in my campaign, I would also point out his alliance/connection with Dagon - interesting stuff!

Interestingly, Demogorgon does have a main squeeze of sorts - Malcanthet, the Demon Queen of Succubi. It gave me this interesting idea for a possible situation in a high-level adventure where the party has to go into The Abyss to foil the plots of a particular, non-Demogorgon demon lord.
The PCs, in some fashion or another, get captured by Demogorgon's minions and is thrown into his prison in Abysm for their master to do with as he pleases. But as it happens, Malcanthet is there, and knows about the party's objective and believes it's in her best interest to help them. She appears and tells them that she can convince Demogorgon (who she'll refer to as her "Gorgy-poo") that they're better off free. If the PCs agree to let her help, she keeps her word.
I don't think much needs to be said about HOW Malcanthet gets her Gorgy-poo to let them out.

New baby and new job = no time. Recording has saved me lots of time to cut between footage rather than finding images. If I wanted to keep making videos this was the compromise.

I... messed up. I'm a newish DM running Out of the Abyss for 6 level 5 players. (My Paladin is able to do an insane amount of damage)
When Demegorgon rose out of the waters they chose to stay and fight it.. they planned for an hour (I was so proud) but ultimately defeated it with only one death (but the battle ended before he rolled 3 fails).
They earned 15,000 experience for this blowing up their characters to level 7 (which poses a balance problem for me) and also messes with the later portion of the campaign.. I don't have a solid idea on how to move forward. I'll need to beef the encounters way up (was already beefed since they started at level 5 instead of 1) and reorganize the demon battle in the later half.. 😢 any tips would be helpful.
Dumb question, but can you give a notification when done with the Demon Lords? 'Cause I wanna watch them all together :P

Rimmon! I honestly don't know much, it was just briefly mentioned that the three of them attacked Amoth and destroyed him. Which is why Amoth is no longer. I think more info on Rimmon and Amoth would be a great video; if I can find any info.

Question: was there ever any official supplements/modules to complete/finish the D&D Cartoon's Story?
Nothing official that I know of.
Look up dnd cartoon ending. They have an unproduced ep.28 that wraps it up very nicely.
I never could take demogorgon seriously. His look is more ridiculous than frightening to me and he dont seem like a high demon, more like a generic low level brute.
The stats given for Demogorgon in "Out of the Abyss" are for his avatar, not him.
I think that applies for all powerful fiends, celestials and gods. Of course, their "real" versions would still be in their respective home planes.
