I'm not big on social media, tv, etc but I find Mike to be genuine and thoroughly enjoy his stories and the underlying message he conveys. I find myself listening\watching all of his content and am pumped about a show based on his life. Congrats to Mike. I've done a little time and am looking at some more as the judge wants to remand me for a silly probation violation. They pretty much set an idiot trap and I fell for it. I get where you’re coming from, but certain experiences like war, prison, captivity etc instil certain qualities in people to do the right thing by their fellow man. Michael’s decision might not have been ideal conventionally, but that doesn’t mean it was wrong.

My dad commit suicide when I was between primary and secondary school. I didn't have a pot to piss in growing up. I'm one of the luckiest men alive and hate anyone who feels sorry for themselves. There's always someone worse off than ourselves and it's so narcissistic and self centered to not realize that
I respect anyone that did wrong in their life and woke up one day and decided to make a change.....no matter how hard....the stuff I did in my own life where I did not get caught often amazes me at my own past poor judgment where if I would have gotten caught my life would be completely different...let’s support Mike in any way we can

Absolutely enjoyed today's story. I remember fondly of when Bruce purchased the Toronto Argonauts alongside Wayne Gretzky and John Candy in 1991. They managed to sign Heisman Tropy winner Rocket Ishmail and that was so huge for the CFL. What a coup over the NFL and the Toronto won the Grey Cup of that year in Winnipeg. Thank you Mr. Franzese for the great stories and recollections. While this spectre of Covid is upon us it totally fucking rules to hear you speak. Cheers!

He tells really good stories he definitely has your attention when he talks. But don’t think he’s telling the real dirt. He doesn’t have immunity and he doesn’t want to hurt his former associates. His story about the Colombo family fighting back is the most revealing in my opinion. He was dropping serious clues. If you pay attention you can put things together, he knows what he’s doing. He’s very calculating.

@Jeff I was being sarcastic. I cant believe Mike made that comment with the Islanders winning all those Cups right before Gretzky came to LA. Also had the Bruins, Flyers and Rangers on the east coast and the Blues, BlackHawks, Red Wings and NorthStars in the midwest. Hockey was probably on a par or more popular than basketball up until the early 80's in all of those cities.

Speaking of prison contraband, when my Dad did a fiver in Walla Walla for dealing marijuana, I can remember sitting in the car outside the prison fence watching her put pot into deflated balloons. I had no idea how she smuggled them in there at the time, or even what she was doing, as I was about four or five years old. Now I know. Lol He told me later that smuggling kept him from having dates every Friday night. It kept him safe.

Michael Franzese has a way of communicating the makes it seem like he's talking with you one on one. All his stories are interesting, believable and consistent with his interviews from the past.

Speaking of prison contraband, when my Dad did a fiver in Walla Walla for dealing marijuana, I can remember sitting in the car outside the prison fence watching her put pot into deflated balloons. I had no idea how she smuggled them in there at the time, or even what she was doing, as I was about four or five years old. Now I know. Lol He told me later that smuggling kept him from having dates every Friday night. It kept him safe.
