    He actually did tell three times that he saved Henry's life. 1. Not telling Paulie that he saw him doing drugs. 2. Getting him removed from terminal island. 3. Telling him to leave California after he had been spotted.

    As someone who has had a long time interest in the mob, I always prefer to listen to Michael Francese's stories about it than other former mobsters, as he never glorifies that life, if anything hearing about how much he changed through his commitment to God and how he used his experience to help others is inspirational

      Definitely agree, Michael has the best stories of the life, very interesting and believe everything that he tells us about. I know you're other mob associates disagreed with you walking away from the life but you done it in a stand up way without putting other guys away and have now found God and changed your life around, full respect.

      White Rabbit I completely agree. Love mob stories, Ive always been very interested in hearing about that life. Some mob guys you cant tell if they are lieing, exaggerating or telling the truth. Michael on the other hand Ive never questioned one time! And he's great at telling his stories. Frank Colluta was also great at telling his stories. I think its because they give so many details that its easy to envision the situation

      I think he didn't really count the recommendation in prison as one since the decision was ultimately up to the prison staff. But Michael should probably acknowledge that that intervention was probably a key factor in that said interview

    I think you’re a straight up/stand up guy Michael. I did 2,316 calendar days because I kept my mouth shut as well when the agents came to shut me down. I’ve been out since October 30,1998 and have stayed focused on my construction business and raising my son.
    I think it’s hilarious that Al Sharpton became an informant as most folks do. It takes a real man to refrain from giving up their friends when the ax drops but the amount of respect you gain including SELF RESPECT is priceless. Keep up the good work brother

    Michael is the MAN!!!!! He lived the most absolutely insane life you get ever emagine and came out on the other side to tell about it and now he is even a man of God! I don't share the same face but that doesn't matter to me the point is is he believes in something and a power greater than himself... That is all that matters. Michael you are an exceptional human being and I believe your purpose here on Earth was to go through that life and live to tell others about it exactly what you're doing right now.     You did save Henry's life 3 times...in the bar (since you didn't have him killed or ratted to Pauly), at Terminal Island jail - getting Henry shipped out - and when you warned him that your family member was looking for him and people knew he was there. Just thought it was funny that you said you only knew of two times you may have saved his life...as you actually tell us about three times! Great videos - keep 'em coming! Love from Canada!

    Henry Hill got sent to my hometown under witness protection. In Nebraska. He opened a restaurant and bragged about it all the time apparently. I never met him that was before my time. But it's still interesting

    Michael, you often talk about your father and how he came from Italy, and your mother is also Italian I believe. Growing up in an Italian neighborhood as well, can you speak Italian or were you able to speak Italian at some point? Also what Italian traditions of any did your family have?

    Michael.. I just found your channel last week and I've been binge watching. I've always been fascinated with these stories and find them very interesting. I admire what you've done with your life and the changes you've made! I had a late Uncle who was a homicide detective in Chicago many years ago and many members of my family were threatened over what he did in his line of work. "Mad Sam Destefano" was a subject of most of that. Again Great channel and Great content!!
