That line from Angela hit like a freight train smh you can hear the real pain in her voice, this couldn’t have been easy for the cast to finish without him but this looks incredible.
I've watched this 'teaser' over a dozen times and cried every time. It looks beautiful. Probably the first movie I'll see in the cinema in over three years

As a cancer survivor myself when he passed away it kind of hit me hard. I said why is it this disease takes the good people while evil people doing harm are still walking the earth.
It's frustrating that a lot of the good ones are taken too soon. My sister died from ovarian cancer 19 years ago. Still hurts to this day.

I can feel so much emotion put into this. They really loved Chadwick and they're honoring him the best they can and I respect that. For the honor of the true king of Wakanda.
This felt like a love letter to Chadwick. Zero story vibes past dealing with that loss. But, honestly, I don't think we needed anything more than that. First Marvel movie in a long time that's gotten me excited. Gonna be one of my rare theater trips once it comes out.
Zero story? Did you entirely miss Namor and Atlantis going to war with Wakanda?
Naw I caught that but also waiting to see how they’re gonna explain the drive.
Namor has always been the superhero equivalent of an emo goth teenager to me.
Dude is always angry. Like that kid who whines about not having enough fizz in his soda.
So if they can craft a compelling story line around why he’s decided to go to war, I’m here for it. But based on the characters entire comic run and mental disposition, Shuri may have simply just broken his skull earbuds…
@@RicoRaynn to be fair he's always angry usually with extremely good reason :-) but yeah my guess is that some nation is gonna mess with Atlantis or whatever they're gonna call it, Atlantis is gonna react in a VERY extreme manner, and that Wakanda will have to step in as the only power that can try and stop them.
@@RicoRaynn Well for starters it looks like they're basing their culture on MesoAmerican ones so that's a nice twist.

This song is so beautiful. My favorite part is when it says “In this great future. You can’t forget your past”. It makes me super emotional and sad.

I have watched this trailer so many times and it hits me the same way each time. But I didn't even make the connection to how much this mirrors the reality for a lot of black women. So thank you for pointing that out and this is coming from a black man. Just adds another level of emotion to an already beautiful and emotional trailer. The visuals, cultural representation, and music has me very excited to see this.

I tear up every time I watch this trailer or someone reacting to this trailer right after the first few words from that song has played, so much emotion is given to us both visually and vocally, the scenes show us Beauty through Artistry as we are reminded how fragile and vulnerable life is. I am not only going to miss the talent that Chadwick shared with us but also how easily one man could make such an impact by showing us how selfless a human being could actually be by his deeds, and watching this trailer we can feel his presence. I can't wait to see this movie I feel like this might be Disney/Marvel's most Beautiful film yet.

Even though Chadwick Boseman is gone, He is still with us in spirit because he is T'challa aka Black Panther aka The King of Wakanda, Also it is cool to see the two kingdoms fighting like in the comics because Black Panther and Namor fight for their kingdoms, Awesome reaction, RIP Chadwick Boseman.

The one reaction I've been waiting for. This is one of the greatest teasers Marvel has done. Raw power and emotion. The Marley/Lamar mashup was incredible. We are getting Namor. We are getting Ironheart. We are getting a new Black Panther. They don't even have to have another trailer. This is enough before the movie for me. I can't wait for November!

This trailer "teaser" was absolutely beautiful in every way. Coogler is masterful in making viewers FEEL what not only He feels, but also the genuine Feel of the actors who are also still mourning Chadwick's loss. The movie looks and feels incredible. 🔥🔥

So much lack of hope and this movie is a way to show how powerful our culture is and how powerful we all are when we stick together to fight the enemy despite the deep trauma we all have in our DNA as African Americans who came from slavery. Cancer is devastating. My mom was diagnosed when I was 16 with uteran cancer that spread to her stomach. She beat it thankfully but I remember watching the pain on her face as she endured the chemotherapy and how much weight she dropped from vomiting. There's nothing worse than watching someone you love suffer and know there's nothing you can do to help them. We really do need a cure for cancer, this disease has taken way too many good people.
My sister passed away 19 years ago from ovarian cancer and I know exactly what you mean. You watch somebody with her away until they’re no longer themselves, it’s devastating. I’m glad she beat it!

I am sooooo HYPED for this movie! Namor, Iron Heart, the possibility of Attuma, and Shuri becoming the New Black Panther. It's gonna be awesome! Maybe Doctor Doom is the one pulling the strings in the Atlantis vs Wakanda War.

It is very sad thinking about Chadwick Boseman.😥 Him knowing he was probably going to die for 4 years, but still went on entertaining us, when he could have chosen other things.

Beautiful trailer. It's difficult to see the other Wakandans without T'Challa. Ryan Coogler is one of the only directors I would have confidence in to make this film. The only part that didn't make me sad was seeing the glimpses of Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner. This character has been around since the 40's and he's finally making his live action debut. Awesome!

Well, In the comics Namor is known as a mutant but Kevin Feigi changed his origin story because they didn't want to copy Aquaman from DC even though Namor came first.

The filming of this movie must have been torturous for all the actors involved. On one hand, they've lost someone in their real lives whom they loved very much. Then they have to push their real-life sorrow, for a scene and then produce their sorrow for each scene over and over for that very same person. I can't even imagine what that must've been like. RIP Chadwick!

There needs to be a Black Panther, and I can't think of anyone better for it to be than Okoye. I don't know if that's who was in the suit at the end, but she seems like the most natural choice.
Rather than avoid or duck the subject of loss, I think this movie is going to lean into it. Not just what we see on the screen, but everything behind the scenes, too. It is, as you said, something very familiar to too many black families. It looks to me like there's going to be a lot of the "if you're going through Hell, keep going" sentiment put to work here.

Love the Tribal look to Namor and the Atlanteans IT shows another level level of their hate for humans and colonization.. Makes way more sense than in the comics. Namor the Sub-Mariner is one of the first Marvel characters and the first Mutant (he is half mutant half Atlantean).. With Ms. Marvel this means the mutants are coming.. But Since Namor isn't evil I wonder if there will be a secret antagonist?
