      @S M If one player can lose the game, than one player can win the game. Typically kickers but any clutch play can be made by any random player at any time. It is a team sport but one play by one individual can technically win the game.

    • @S0ulinth3machin3
      @S0ulinth3machin3 5 лет назад +2

      @@oldtimemoonshine77 that's incorrect. Even on a field goal, the kicker needs his 10 teamates to perform. All 10. If any one of them fails to perform, the snap gets messed up, the hold gets messed up, someone's offsides, a block is missed, the field goal is blocked because of the missed block, etc. It takes the entire team, it's never just one guy.

Lombardi was like this and won 6 NFL championships with Green bay (with Bart Starr about a 10th round draft choice--like Brady). As long as Coach B is in NE, tey will just keep winning. Let's see, if TB retires at the age of 45 and Pat's winning rate is 2 out of 3 if they reach Super Bowl. TB is 41 and he has 4 more years to play. So this means TB has good chance of getting 2 or 3 more rings when they go to Super Bowl and assuming Pat's reach Super Bowl 2 more times over next 4 years, this makes great chance TB gets his 7th ring or even 8th before he retires. This sucks.

    Joe Montana was the unquestioned biggest winner in history pre-Brady, with a 16-7 career postseason record. Brady is 15-7 just in conference championship and Super Bowls (also via @TB_Facts). In fact, subtract Montana’s entire postseason W-L record from Brady’s 30-10, and you’re left with 14-3. Terry Bradshaw, the only other QB with four Super Bowl rings besides those two, was 14-5. So the GOAT’s record is better than both of the other 4-ring QBs combined.

      9 were close

    its kinda like a downward spiral, or maybe upward depending who you're rooting for. the skill cap of the players in the nfl is so high, that ordinary coaches just dont have the ability to make their players reach that skill cap. but when u have bb winning 6 superbowls, his credibility as a coach is just untouchable. so as a player you have no choice but to subscribe to his plan because you know you're in the presence of greatness. and that in itself just unlocks a whole other level of play for the individual players. and that is probably why you have an average defense absolutely destroying the best offenses in the league.

    It's not exactly a huge secret to people who understand an environment that pushes and demands perfection out of you, based on mission accomplishment and the rejection of failure. The Patriots run like a military unit almost exactly. No one is special, no one is above criticism or reproach and everyone is bought into a single minded goal. In my unit's I was apart of we were expected to endure whatever was necessary for the accomplishment of the team, and also endure whatever hardship to improve. We were also taught that there is always someone better than you out there no matter what high speed unit you were a part of, or what you thought you rated. We all knew we had no privileges, the primary focus was the unit no matter what else you had going on. The professional sports world caters exceedingly to stars and big names, it also caters to a system that treats others marginally better based on performance, and a lax attitude at a certain talent level. The Pats do not accept any of that, plain and simple and no name is above the mission, which is to win. Our modern privileged society has a hard time understanding that mind set, but it's been preached in the military which depends on complete success, or none at all for a long time.

      Yes I find it very interesting to hear other players, Chad Johnson was one who spoke on this matter, but they all say how surprised they were to hear Belichick publicly critiquing Brady's game film the same as all the other players, as they were more used to QB and other star players receiving special treatment. I think a lot of Brady's success as a leader in the field comes from the loyalty his teammates have for him because of that lack of preferential treatment.

      Like Jimmy Gro with San Francisco, Malcolm Butler and James white making big fat check with titan in Tennessee or former NFL champions he played with eagle in Philadelphia he makes big pay check as well , cannot remember his name for now.

    Comparing Brady to Jordan on titles isn't even apples to apples. Brady is the only player in the NFL with 6 rings. Haley is the only player with 5 rings. In the NBA Jordan is tied for 10th with 6 rings. Robert Horry has 7.

    • @PeterJustGames
      @PeterJustGames 5 лет назад

      Manuel DeAbreu that’s a good point. Brady is in his own stratosphere in the NFL while Jordan is to a certain extent in basketball but there are a number of guys with more rings than him so it’s not quite the same. It’s way harder to have prolonged success in the NFL than basketball

  • @jsallerson

    Stop complicating things. Why do they win?
    Because they play AS A TEAM.
    They don’t hire superstar elite players out for themselves. They hire skilled players looking to work together seamlessly as a unit. And that makes them all better. It’s not rocket science, stop overanalyzing things.
