I can't thank you enough for not having all sorts of filler information, extremely well done and to the point and yet still demonstrate it. Don't usually comment on things like this but you deserve the boost!
I have been looking all over for a recipe like this. This morning I saw a commercial about the waste of plastics in this country. This video was so clear and well thought out. I love the way you’re saving the back up laundry detergent in a food storage bucket, I tried to copy the recipe by highlighting it, but could not. Are you able to provide a link so that we can all copy your amazing recipe. I could probably just write it down by hand. I have shared the recipe with Family and I am so grateful
Any suggestions for those of us in Hawaii how to store this? The Borax and washing soda was rock hard in the box at the store. Cause of the humidity here. Am thinking maybe to put in a plastic bag , knot top and then store in plastic container like the one you have.
Does anyone have a problem getting the soap to dissolve? I have a top-loader HE washer and I don't use as much soap as recommended here, but I get a white powdery residue on my clothes - I do usually only wash in cold water.
What about if I have 6 bars of soap, 3lbs. Of washing soda, borax and 13 lb bag of baking soda what’s the most I can make with that? I wanna use up all the dry ingredients. And I grated my soap did not use a food processor will it dissolve in the wash? Because yours looks different.

the vinegar added to your wash with those ingredients is a nice touch lol, people need to be sure that it's not added directly into the powder hehe
Thanks for giving the bulk batch ingredients! Making mine tomorrow!

borox is excellent in removing bad smells
Do you put the white vinegar in the fabric softner section of washing machine, or do you add it with the soap, into the barrel?
Good question! Fabric softener area

Can this be used to hand wash fabrics (using gloves)? Thank you
What is the purpose of the 30-40 drops of the laundry soap? Where can I buy it.
Finally can I safely add bleach to your recipe?
Thanks
How much of the mixture do you add? I missed that part. Looks like you are using one cup?

I put the soap in rhe washer first, and let the water run for a bit, then put your laundry in. I wash mostly in cold water too.
I read on another site to add salt to the formula to stop the soap build up
do i have to use the borax i have really sensitive skin that hates borax
You can omit the borax if your skin is sensitive to it.
Vinegar to each load as a fabric softener? More info on this PLEASE!!!
Could you pl tell the weight of your soap bars. Thanks
Those were Dr. Bronner soap bars . Not sure the weight .
What's the consistency of soap bars?
I am not sure if my clothes are clean, but when I wash with the recipe it doesn’t have bubbles. Any output on that?
It won't bubbles
Does it dissolve good in cold water too
Yup :)
Works great!
washers without the agitator you need to loud around the edges as if it had one. Like a donut. keep the center empty.
Do you poor this right in the where or in the powder holder on the washer

Agt
So the white vinegar is a softener
