"Leather and Lace" is a song performed by American singers Stevie Nicks and Don Henley. ... duet album Leather and Lace, but the song was not included on that album
probably my all-time favorite duet-their voices just compliment each other so beautifully! wish i could see them do this live sometime-thanx for posting this!
I was a young man when I first heard this testament of the heart and was so moved by its haunting though lively melody and its optimistic hope that truly "Springs eternal," although a pretty tough guy, I cried...I'm 55 now and no longer feel like crying over love songs...but I am still deeply moved.
I love you Stevie!!!! This is a love my mother and I shared together. I no longer have my mother but Ill always have memories of my mama and me driving down the road singing our hearts out together (and we suck..) to this and so, so many other songs of Stevie's.
Imagine listening to this 'demo'. From the very first line of lyrics...."Isn't love so fragile...?" ...there's no way this wasn't going to be an amazing song.
I have loved both of these artists and their music in all its incarnations for many years. This video/song version brought tears to my eyes (it's complicated). Thank you so much for posting!
Yep, demo version... I'm sure they all stepped back and, listened to their producer after that cut and, collectively said... "For goodness sakes, it's a ballad... We gotta slow this puppy down..."
Accapella version little background noise, very very beautiful song. I never knew till a few days ago that Stevie NIcks was dating Don Henley... they sing well together , blended voices.
This is what we all feel when in love and one of use gets confuse and want to leave all the beautiful time we share. Hey, its worth fighting for and I love my wife for 18 years and going strong if she will just get it right.
Too bad RUclips only has a "like" button and not a "love" button... I love this duet so much... The roughness of the "leather" and the delicacy of the "lace"... But both are alternately strong and weak...
Too bad it's just pictures..NO VIDEO. It would be awesome to see them sing this version. I've heard this version multiple times/placeso n RUclips... Too bad.

It sounds really good. I love the pitches. I think this is the best version. Though it sounds like more of a love song when it's slower.

Beautiful
The Eagles passed her around like a blunt.
..TRULY DIFFICULT FOR HER TO PREFORM- considering her "history" with Sir Don Henley-an Eagle, which is none of ANYones business;). Rock on Ms Nicks
Can anyone PLEASE tell me where I can download this version.... this version ONLY! I love the way she sings it here!
+Matias Fernandez copy this youtube link and go to www.youtube-mp3.org/ paste > convert > download
Stevie Nicks was the Princess Leia of rock and roll..
OMG
@deadluvva
Its on her Crystal Visions CD (2007)
Stevie had range, but preferred her softer voice.
Don had passion in his voice.
Weren't these two together at one point?
yes and she was pregnant and had an abortion
Great version. I love the fragility in her voice.
hmmm yes early demo
Too bad it's just pictures..NO VIDEO. It would be awesome to see them sing this version. I've heard this version multiple times/placeso n RUclips... Too bad.

That was not very important..listen to the song!
Stevie Nicks is amazing!
They were born to sing together, but they need to lose that buzzing guitar.
Yeah if it wasn't buzzing the song could be a hit huh? lol
