You can go into slinger aim while unsheathed, I'm on keyboard and i have it bound to C for toggle and V for hold. For hammer you can also press your slinger aim input after a level 2 or 3 charge move to do a clutch followup.
I have a lot of cosmetic mods, some I no longer have the source so you can just ask which one you want and I'll try to link it. The bgm is from the dmc collab quest made to play here. As for fc hammer its very situational downside is hammer rarely ever wants to sheathe
