    I love that all the additions are smart and functional. Too many trucks out there with ridiculous mods that are either overkill or actually make the truck worse. It's been fun to follow the journey. I've bought several of your suggestions along the way. Keep up the great work!
    (If you're looking for a fog light upgrade check out the Diode Dynamics 👍)

    You mentioned dogs...not at all a paid promotion. The Ruff Liners Dog Back Seat and Door Cover by a US small business so far has such a good dog hammock for the back seats. The multiple connection points make it really form fitting, but also easy to fold down if you have passengers that will ride in the back seats. It's machine washable, super lightweight, durable, and not slippery for dogs. Awesome customer service too. I don't really like dogs hammocks, but definitely recommend this one.
    P.S. Love your videos! Please keep posting stuff! :)

    People like you are why I spent an hour de-chroming my Tacoma when I got it. I hope you're happy. Also I have the seat jackers with the powered seats and it 100% helps as no matter how much I tried adjusting them I still had lower back pain after driving for a while and the seat jackers completely eliminated that.

    Any regrets? I regret putting a light bar on the front of my windshield. It makes an annoying sound at highway speeds. I am glad you didn’t

    • @ChloeKuo
      @ChloeKuo  Год назад +4

      I’ve heard that about light bars on roof racks, although with how effective they are on backcountry roads and stuff, I’m sure for that’s only a small price to pay depending on the person/how they use their truck. Have you considered mounting it behind the grille?
      I don’t really have any regrets and I’m happy with how everything has held up/performs, although I talked about some minor issues with my truck in my previous video that could’ve been because of my modifications.

    • @mattlewandowski73
      @mattlewandowski73 Год назад +2

      They make airflow diverters that attach to the light bars to alter the air flow coming off the cooling fins and reduce the whistle. It will not be eliminated, but roof racks round lights, antennas, anything that sticks up in the wind will cause noise. The problem with the lights is that the more you do to reduce the noise, the more the cooling capability is also reduced.
      Amazon has some of those wind diverters for light bars for $25. They might be worth experimenting with. Personally I am putting a contractors rack on my truck with a 50" light bar on the front bar of the rack, plus my radio antennas... I figure my best bet for the wind noise is to put big noisy mud tires on to over power the whistle. :D

    About the floor mats, I noticed on my new Taco I drag my foot across the edge of the mat as I get in the drivers seat, that may or may not contribute to the mat issue you observed.
