Eonon have been around for a long time. They mainly used to have android headunits which were pricey but it is nice to see more affordable ones. I will consider this if i need a headunit in future
Eonon are a solid brand, I have 3 of their units in my VWs and 1 of their portable carplay units. 👌

Got one of these in a 2011 Focus. Works really well. Shop around though, they are as low as £106 on ebay just now
Does it start playing up if you have it on for a long time or had multiple things running at the same time, I can’t find many reviews on x3 as it is a recent

Wonder if radio reception worked if it had an amplified antenna. Would like to see gps in this unit for navigation. My old Eonon allowed me to download Igo maps with all the updates etc.
Hello, could you kindly confirm if the ISO 2 Quadlock adapter sufficed for proper functionality? I came across a RUclips video where another individual installed it on a 2003 Touareg and had to route a cable from the fuse box, presumably to prevent it from resetting with each engine shutdown. Could you verify if yours is functioning correctly? Additionally, could you please provide a link to the adapter? Thank you.

Just what I was looking for, I don't need any of the stupid apps that come with the Android ones, just want to have Maps and Spotify up. Also comes with a USB power out on the back of the unit that you can wirre into your car if it doesn't come with one so you don't have to have the cable coming awkwardly out of the front.
what's the use ion the usb cable at the back of the unit ? can you just tuck in behind the unit when installing ?

Just got one and i cant get it to send sound to my speakers everything is connected correctly everything works just no audio at all. (No factory amp, just using headunit to power speakers)

I got a Sony double din one that is just terrible, Apple car play never works on it and I paid £300+ for it 😂 can I just swap it out with this?

Screen glare looks horrible. It looks like a VA screen from where you're shooting from. Is this the case? or am I expecting too much for a cheap Headunit?

Hiya i know this is an older video. I have just installed the x3 in my sons 2012 i20. I can't figure out the steering wheel controls. Could anyone help. Also it losses its radio stations and setting as soon as i turn it off . Help me my son is nagging me to death 😢

The Bluetooth sound on mine are extremely bad never had something that bad. And also the google maps goes absolute crazy to a point that I cant use use. Screen flinches to different locations up and down while your driving. Pretty shit unit in total.
I'm sorry that yours has done that. I've not had any problems with mine and it's still working well. The only issue I've found long term is that the radio reception is a bit patchy sometimes. Perhaps it's worth trying to contact Eonon. They might be able to provide you with a new firmware to flash or a replacement unit.
its a nice radio with good QLED screen and snappy. it wont slow down as it ages as you dont install apps directly on the radio. modern cars with build in carplay uses the same tech. so as aftermarket carplay radio. but this one is so much cheaper with good quality. all the features a modern radio has and non of the bloats. i got 2 eonon x3 during their chirstmas sale at £62 each.

@@Jcf124 yes. you can play the radio while using android auto. it will only stop once you play a music on spotify
