Ur videos are fun and this one in particular is super helpful. I’ve been trying to find the best windshield for my beast and sounds like, this is it! But damn expensive.. Haa.. 🤓
Thank you very much bro! Glad it helped. 😁🤘 Anything good in India is costly, be it gopro, drones, etc. and is mostly from outside of india except the bike itself 😛
Great video! In America we call that “Buy once, cry once”. Just spend the money for the known good product than buying several questionable products and then buy the expensive one. You just doubled the price.
Thanks Ron! I bought many but laughed a lot instead when they broke for no reason. It was quite a bit of fun breaking them on the trails 😅 if it can break a windshield, it can sure break us but I survived 😂
Thanks for making this video. Whatever u said about Prospec, i feel it's never made for ktm 390adv visor, the fitment is too bad. Spending 2.5k for prospec then realising that it never fits properly and comes off during the ride. Such an irritating thing. Same for their cruise control as well, it just does not hold the throttle. They demand so much by pricing but deliver nothing.
Hello hello! Its a brilliant windshield indeed but some adv owners expect a sport tourer kind of a wind deflection which they don't get with even this shield and start complaining. Any words of wisdom for those people apart from "go buy a sports tourer"? 😂
@@RoadhawkVlogs Actually I wouldn't be quite so kind. As far as I'm concerned, some wind, noise and vibrations are all part of the motorcycling experience, just like getting wet when it rains. Cars are made for those who wish it to be otherwise IMHO...
Absolutely 300% agree. Thing is people buy it coz its fancy when its launched but they start cringing. As if these people never researched what they get with the product and what they compromise on. Wind gush can be reduced but can never be taken away from the experience of riding an Adv.
@@RoadhawkVlogs The easy fix for excessive wind is to slow down a bit I've found. I also avoid highway riding wherever possible and find that the wind is reasonably comfortable at 100kph and under, even on naked bikes. The Givi windscreen is pure luxury as far as I'm concerned! The Indian countryside looks amazing, so ride safe and happy trails my friend...
I have one more doubt. I have adv250 & i usually cruise at 130 in highways. & my frnd said if i use bigger windshields my speed will be reduced. Is it true? Does it affect the speed
@@ohnogamezarc not at all bro, rather it will let u ride fast because of no wind blast on your body or head.. Not sure how ur friend got the idea but windshields stand for the exact opposite of what he mentioned 😅
Works fine for me with 2 inch raisers. Although point to note is that I am using husqvarna svartpillion mirrors on mine. Not sure with stock mirrors as they are lengthier than the ones i have.
I tried it on a friends bike and felt that due to the base of the windshield being smaller, it becomes top heavy and resists very little wind which hits ur chest. Felt buffeting near shoulders and a lot on the chest. The 2 prongs on the front felt dangerous as well for saddling and steep off roading scenario. Just my thoughts though. Feel free to try one before you buy one. 😊
I agree, at above 120+ kmph, there is a slight bit of windblast on the top most portion of my helmet. Nothing below 90kmph, literally nothing. But its 120kmph bro, not very often we ride at such speeds. The other bigger Givi one is just too big e.g. if its gets scratched, you won't even be able to see the road ahead clearly as you'd always have to watch the road through the screen. Thing is it's an adventure bike, so cross winds will always be there but 7710D serves the purpose quite well and its crazy sturdy! What's 100% perfect after all bro! I would say this is 95% perfect and we have got to make peace with the rest of 5% imperfection (like we do generally in life with everything/everyone else). The windshields from other brands I used were absolute waste but this one I believe is gonna last till the bike lasts😀
Thank you bro! Sure I can make a video on the tyres. Its my 4th pair of vee rubber now, 2nd time to Ladakh with these on, so u can kinda tell that I trust these.
Mine are just 2 small stainless steel clamps which are mounted on top of the screw for headlight guard.. no special clamp as such but been doing the job for long now, SS is pretty strong.. you can check some photos on my insta or i can share as well if u dm me
waiting for this from long time thanks for the video, as this is heavier than stock one does it make front headlight part shake on humps and road breaks, i am using carbon racing one it shakes alot i feel like something will happen to front please let me? this one thing is stopping me to buy givi? if its safe on bumps and humps i am going for it
Thanks for the support bro! Its very sturdy and not very heavy as such, as mounts are aluminium.. it doesn't shake, move, or anything at all.. wind deflection is also good.. if u have used CR windshield, then u will find the deflection far too brilliant. For a 1 time investment, this is worth every penny. And best thing is, all screws and bolts are rust free (as far as company says 😅 feels like it too).
Hey, Yup, its a duke 390 stock. Not a direct fit, needs a clamp to be fit on adv. it sits well though. You can order those clamps from Asura Garage in Bangalore (this is where I got mine).
Penny wise pound foolish is how we learn mostly no offence! But nicely put your videos are very interesting and fun to watch. Quality content bro keep them coming!!

Thank you for trying out so many windshields so that so that v dont hav to burn a hole in our pockets, u did tht for us. I 😅 How does puig windshield compare against givi?
Appreciate it bro 😅🙏 Puig is good and sturdy as well but I feel its a bit narrow overall. A bottom heavy design feels more sturdy and deflects a lot of wind too, something like givi ones. To be honest, neither are perfect, nor they are bad. Sometimes u just gotta go with what tinkles ur thoughts 🤣🤘🏼
If you remember we had meet in asura garage (yellow v storm). You told me the same about prospec. And literally the next week i was riding rain and and the prospec started sliding and getting lose. 😂😂 And i also removed it after a week of use😅

These are husqvarna mirrors bro
Can this also be used for ktm adv 250?
Yes, all of it can be used for 250 as well. All accessories for 390, that do not involve electronics, can be fitted on 250.
Hello. Will the 7710d screen work with 1" handlebar risers on the 390 adventure? Thank you so much

Hi , did you make changes in your front forks to put the fly fender ?
Hey, for this fender specifically, u can only get if your suspension is increased by 2 inches.. for the xpulse one, its a direct fit with a clamp.

Some people I came across said that the 7710d is not worth the premium it demands, that they still get the wind blast on helmet
