Left/Right fork spring and cartridge with the adjustable knobs are included. The fork tube is not included. Use your old fork tube just change the internals
Thanks man. You saved us some money! Just one question. Does the standard front suspension work require any drilling to place the cartridge of the adjustable ones?
Hi.. great video. I have the 390 X, which has the Big piston forks as opposed to open cartridge ones on the STD. Will I be able to replace the internals? Or will I need to buy the entire kit?
Thanks for making this video. I got the rear shock replaced with the adjustable one and i too was blown away. Recently ordered the front too! How much do you weigh and what was the setting on the rear shock that worked for you?
Did you also get the rear shock preload adjuster c hook wrench ? I'm trying to find it but no luck, even service centre guys are saying it isn't coming with new gen duke, have tried chembur and Andheri east service center
Hi dude looking for front shocks internal for close to a year but service centre refuses to sell without th forks, where did you get it from. I checked with mahim ktm
@@lifeoutloud390 Thanks for the response dude. Also did you have to ask for it in advance, I have to get my service done as per schedule. Also I am facing repeated quick shifter issue despite going to mahim KTM 5 times, which is closer and convenient. Any suggestions for both
@@lifeoutloud390woah isn’t that too soft for highway speeds . ? If you don’t mind may I know how much do you weigh and what setting you use on the rear.
@@lifeoutloud390 i find that my suspension be it front or rear has extra clicks. 32 for compression front , 34 for rebound front, 22 for rebound in rear. So bit confused. The manual says its supposed to be 30,30,20 and we are supposed to count from hardest. Service center people are saying this normal, count from softest, the clicks at the harder end are usually some free play and pointless.
So helpful...
Thanks for uploading the details and also answering so many comments.
You are a GOAT !
Keep riding buddy 💪
I'm happy to be of help. thanks for the kind comment
@@lifeoutloud390 I would like to communicate more about this. Can you add your insta id in the description?
Some KTM SVC centers don't get this idea of sourcing the child parts. Any help will be appreciated.
This feels life changing. Need to get it done on my STD variant above all other mods.
It is truly life changing
Nice detailed video on your experience. Keep Growing!
Thanks a ton
Thank you so much for this. More power to you.

Glad you found it helpful. No drilling/modification required at all. It's plug and play

Yes I guess the fork tubes are same for both just the internal open cartridge is the difference. You can replace the internals.
Thanks a lot for this 😊@@lifeoutloud390

Glad it helped. I'm around 70kgs and I have the preload at 5 and the rebound 3 turns in from softest

That was included in the toolkit that comes with the bike. But I'm sure you can buy it at any shop which keeps automotive tools
Is that tank bag magnetic? The tank is metal?
No it's straps on a base layer that is strapped on the tank
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your weight and what’s the preload you’re running in the rear?
Im around 70kgs and running 5 on preload
Hello. Is it possible to install this adjustable suspension on ktm adv 250?
Yes I think so the 250 and 390 have same size suspension
Bro what mirrors are those ?
Husqvarna
can we fit the adjustable rear suspension in standard version
Yes I've done the same thing. Both front and rear. Buy from KTM service center and fit it. Total cost is around 18k
Hi Bro
Can you provide the part number for front suspension internal springs
Left Fork internals: YJG66001
Right Fork internals: YJG66002
Rear Shock: JG122073

I got it from Marol service center

Yes you have to order it in advance. For quick shifter you need to do software update and quick shifter learning calibration from service center
I have the rally version of adv 390 , rear shock is really good, but front even with the adjustment of suspension not so comfortable as back
Try with the softest setting and then move towards hard. I have Rebound at 4 clicks in from softest and Compression at 7-8 clicks in from softest

Perfect..... going to do changes as you said for front suspension.

youtube should provide 4 x playback speed😂😂
Can i install this shock in Gen 2 Duke 390?
You will have to compare the size and check if it fits. the latest Duke 390 also has adjustable shock but it is slightly longer than the ADV
@sanjunyk did it fit?
