    Fish keeping is a fluid situation! Everyone has unique circumstances. Be sure to get input from various sources before making any major changes in your tank. Recommendations picked up from places like RUclips might not work with your unique water, fish and tank conditions. What I express in my videos are my opinion based on my first hand experience and conclusions. Don't assume it will work 100% for you and your set up. Always be learning!

    I like those mini filters from ACO. I have several. Perfect for my 5 gallon tanks. Would be good for 10 gallon also I think! They work great and flow is adjustable. Great for bettas!

    One of the biggest misconceptions with planted tanks is that you never need to do water changes. That is totally false.

    • @BenOchart
      @BenOchart  2 месяца назад +2

      Agreed. Water changes do much more than just lowering nitrates.

    I am not sure you understand that are real experts on this topic.Namely, biologists and doctors of veterinarian medicine specialize in aquarium fish. It's boils down to science, not pro science, and the idea of one thing works for this person doesn't work for another person, especially if you have similar conditions with similar fish is just not true.

    • @BenOchart
      @BenOchart  2 месяца назад +1

      99.99% of what you hear on RUclips about taking care of fish is anecdotal. Each person has to take what they hear, consider their unique circumstances, and make up their own mind. Unfortunately too much “science” these days is tied to the seeking profit.
