I’ve kept a cichlids for more than 15 years and the only thing that works is OVERSTOCKING your tank. You need at least double what you have in your tank man. Their fighting because they remember who the hell they fought a minute ago. You gotta have 30 fish that constantly fight each other that way they never can zone in on one. My honest opinion. I love cichlids and that’s the best way in my opinion.

Very good tips of urs i will try feeding it 3 times a day i have moved the decorations and it worked a little cause my veija has made a border of its territory as a huge plant.I moved it a little and now other fish have a little space to swim.I have a veija, 2oscars,2plecos,1jewel cichlid and 2pacus

If an over crowded tank solves the aggression problems then a 75 gallon tank is perfect for people that can't have a bigger tank. You just have to get rid of the aggressive ones sometimes.
The 3 to 1 ratio really got to me I bummed into my father several times in the past months and I kinda got the message several times already 😄. We got into several fight already...

I think tip#5 is key! African cichlids need very large tanks, like above 75 gallons and from 125 to 200 is much better

My convict only chase my one other convict and my one e blue jack Dempsey not my other two fish and the funny thing is I had 3 convict but I have one away because he was chasing them and soon I have him away the convict took over and started doing it

In my opinion, aggression can be reduced by getting a tank anywhere from 300g plus. The more spaces you have for them, the less aggression.
or take 1/2 the fish out of that tank :)
I have 4 cichlids in a tank together with a king Halfmoon Betta and the king put them all in their place 🤣😂 no nips just assertiveness as far as chasing they know better at this point and they give him a wide berth.

TIP 7, buy yourself some guppies and neons rather than cichlids kept like above.
My tank boss doesn't aggressively pursue other fish. It's more those below him that compete and the weaker fish of the group get the worst of it. Just from my experience...
I numbed the aggression in my Cichlid tank by adding 3 Palm branches and 6 Zebra Danios. Magic.
I think he just has too many in there. I have a 36 gallon bow front tank with 4 cichlids and it's the perfect amount. Almost 10 gallons of space per 🐟

In his defense, yeah his fish are fighting but the suggestions he stated can be helpful in lessening the aggression in your tank. African cichlids are very aggressive by nature so there’s no way to make it where they will never EVER aggressive IMO. His tank is relatively peaceful considering theres African cichlids in it. 😂
