I did it exactly like this, it worked thank god the bike didn’t explode 😅 anyways thanks for the video. With the new version tensioner the start up rattling disappears completely 👌👍
My r1 for the 1st time today rattled so bad for a for seconds that it sounded like my chain fell off & rattled around , so I pulled over & there was nothing visible , my bike has 5k for mileage, I’m not sure what’s going on
NICE! put now a video running te engine please, it works? I have the same common issue of cct, r1 2009 24k km, 2 o 3 seconds of noise and then it goes but its anoying and i want to change it,
@@Antonio_mrRR not jet but soon, you should buy the 2012-2014, i dont have here the part number, its almost the same but better than the 2009-2011 oem part. the internal spring, its stronger, that works before the oil come inside the tensioner.

Change the cam shaft tension it’s really common with r1s
Make sure to get it aftermarket

Did CCT came unlock?
After installed and u go counter clock wise until a click ? So it locks and then you go clockwise to rotate several times ?
That’s my same question. He went counterclockwise for a couple of cranks then changed to clockwise.
Anyone use the ape manual tensioner?
