My picture book "In Love With James Dean" is now available on Amazon and Kindle ....... Being in love is when you see something really beautiful and your first thought is, "I want them to see it too" ........ I saw the beautiful James Dean, fell in love and my first thought was I want the whole world to see and know how magnificent he was in all respects. I took great pleasure in writing this picture book, in telling people my story ..... It summarizes the last few months of my life, my journey of being in love with the late great James Dean ...... How I first saw him, how I fell in love, how it changed my life forever, how "being in love with James Dean" brought me countless moments of joy and pleasure, how I so wanted a bond with someone who would truly understand me and not judge me for "being in love with the LATE James Dean", someone who would admire the man as deeply as I did, how I found a way of channeling my emotions into something even more wonderful. This picture book is not only a fan tribute, but an attempt to keep James Dean's legacy alive and to introduce him to the future .... through my words, my feelings and through loads of my favorite photographs of him .... for James Dean lives on, just as young and just as beautiful 60 years later.
This book is a mix of an autobiography and a biography about a movie star "James Dean" I have a high regard for. I wrote a mini James Dean biography inside my autobiography because I wanted to share the touching moments of my life too. James Dean's life touched my life and I want his life to touch others too. Having and sharing my touching moments was a real joy. I have always wanted to know every little detail about him. Writing this book was like one massive puzzle to solve because the background information had to be (at least I have tried) accurate. I loved reading and researching and doing the detective work tracking down newspaper articles, or diaries or biographies written by others, or documentaries (both audio and visual) or the television and movie appearances that featured James Dean. I watched the "behind the scenes", the "deleted scenes", the "screen tests". I watched and read to know who James Dean was and what others thought of him, his friends, co-stars, family members to understand him better. It's a strange but a beautiful feeling or sense of knowing someone I have never met. I am sure you'll find him beautiful too, both inside and outside.

My favorite James Dean movie will always be "East of Eden". His role was evil personified but the way in which he stole the heart of his brother's fiancée and drove his brother to insanity proved the genius turned madman inside of him. Just looking at his eyes change from adoring to manic has an enduring , haunting sense of the macabre. Had he lived I believe that Jimmy could have been the best horror actor on the planet. He could have done the iconic performances of Nicholson's repertoire in particular "The Joker" and "The Shining" as only two examples.
