Such a likable team. Sticking by Murray through injury, giving Jokic his pieces, elevating squad players, bringing back slashers, changing what an elite center is defined as, defeating narratives. Nuggets are a fantastic team

In the other series, even against the Warriors, when the other teams would make 3s it was annoying to see the Laker's defense not try. Doubted talent, no name players drafted in the 2nd round blooming to stars, using players that are given up on use there expertise for the depth of there team. Then theres making a play style viable which for the Nuggets is centered around Jokic's Passing while the Warriors are centered around Steph's shooting. Like it's nice to see teams like then develop to juggernauts of the league. Jokic and Giannis for me are the best big men archetype to have in today's league.

@@dababy1234 You have to remember this is the Basketball Hall of Fame, not the NBA Hall of Fame, and they allowed Grant Hill to be in it.

I became a nuggets fan around 2015-2016 so seeing a in depth video like this really helped me remember things I forgot when I first started watching the nuggs. Wilson chandler was my goat lmao

This was the best Nuggets road to gold video I have watched yet. Awesome job dude hats off really, you did your homework.
Coming from a lifelong Nuggets fan. Born in 93 haha.
Live in cali close to LA so all I see is Los Angeles, born in Denver and lived with my grandparents for a while in Colorado. Instantly knew jok would get us at least one especially when Murray came around. Finally some history in the making.
Anyways I had a long comment but I lost it so long comment short the only thing I’d add is in depth looks on the lineups jok / nugs had to play with at times when players were hurt example randy foy ehhhhhhhh yuck. But you still touched on that. and also the Shaw drama but that is just nit picking, the video is perfect as is.
Anyways this championship meant a lot to me because my gma passed unexpectedly during the Minnesota series, she was always chillin on the couch during games doing her crossword puzzles and commenting on everyone and her thoughts and rooting for us. Just made it special being an actual fan of the game. Much love to everyone if you read this keep up the grind always do you! Let’s gooo

The Nuggets sweeping the Lakers was a HUGE deal in Denver. Before that we had never beat them in the playoffs, ever.

When I was in grade school, my neighbor in Columbine Knolls owned the Denver Rockets (named after the Titan missiles built at Lockheed in nearby Waterton Canyon) … back then it was the ABA and red, white, and blue basketballs, and games played in the Coliseum. I’m 60 years old now, it’s been a long time coming.

the nuggets beating the heavily favored clippers team in 2020 was one of the best things i’ve witnessed in basketball. i never rooted for a team so much that i couldn’t careless about like i did with the nuggets. overcoming 2 3-1 deficits in the playoffs was so exciting to see

I just don’t get why people who’ve never achieved anything in a sporting sense, even in high school, are seen to have any weight to their opinions on professional athletes and how good they are

Honestly this kind of gatekeeping is what gives dumbasses like Kendrick Perkins any kind of credibility. If you were a high achiever in basketball it does not mean you will be good at evaluating talent and analyzing the game. For example listen to the takes of the nerd sesh guys from the Volume, who clearly have never pursued a bball career, and then listen to Perkins, Pierce or Hollins to see who has a better grasp and understanding of the game. Sure you have outliers like Redick and to a lesser extent Richard Jefferson of ex players who actually give good, coherent and well thought out analysis, but whether it's their own egos, just being stupid or something else I feel that ex players make very shitty basketball analysts.
