I am not afraid of needles, shots, never thought they hurt, UNTIL someone was trying to put an IV in my hand for surgery. That was so painful, it was worse then the surgery. Someone else came in who was more experienced to put the IV in, by this time I was crying, in pain and said “no”! That really wasn’t an option, I was given birth to triplets, she was kind and said just give me one chance. I did not feel a thing. The difference between experience and knowledge is priceless!
I love your philosophy! Most reasons non medical professionals end up diy’ing their own tox ,threads and/or fillers is to control the amount of pain because they’ve had horrendous experiences ! I wish they all were conscientious like you NP Dan!😊😁
I agree, i started learning to inject my own lipolysis. I am dermatologist. The doctor i hade, hit me so hard my muscles cramps for days. And the results were terribly uneven and bad
You are the best educator I have seen so far. I took a course on injectables and I am learning more from you than I did from the instructor. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge
You are the best. Why not teach us. This is nursing. We teach out young. So many people (especially in Toronto) gate keep cosmetics soooo hard. No one wants to teach us. I love you I respect you and my mother prays for you because youve helped me so much
I just happened to write my response to you on this video but have watched most of your videos. You have a wonderful way of presenting your information. I have been treating aesthetic patients for approximately 8 years and I am a solo practitioner so it is always nice to have another perspective. Thank you for that! Stay healthy and be nice to everyone!
Thank you this video is so helpful, both to physicians and patients! I am glad ti see another doctor trying their best to optimize treatment performance, only you do it way better! 😁
Love your videos, you’re marvellous at explaining your techniques!! Very much enjoyed your video on Botox injections, I was wondering if you could do a full face injection guide.....mapping and the amount of toxin you use for each injection point. Have a great day handsome ; )
Hi Dan! I absolutely love your talks! Well organized, helpful, concise, direct and to the point! Could you please tell me the length of the BD needle you use? 6MM? 8MM? Thank you! Michele

There’s a device called aquagold Microneedling. It’s where you mix a variety of products into a small Microneedling device and stamp it on your face. The products can include any combination of the following. Botox, vitamins, PRP, and non crosslinked hyaluronic acid. The botox is diluted, so it does provide some relaxation of the lines, but it’s not as effective as botox alone. It also only lasts about a month.
Hello Dan! Thank you for this video. I’m interested to know bout the needle. Bd insulin 31g needle. Is it the ultra fine needle ? Pls response. Ty I really appreciate if you can response on me now.:)Good night & God bless you!😊
Not related question, what is the number of units of Botox and how much filler we need to make the cocktail for skin booster? Also can I use restylane booster to make the cocktail? Thanks
Can you please make a video on how to find a good injector? I live in a very rural community & there are only two people that inject-one is a MediSpa ran by a nurse & general practitioner; the other is a dentist who does filler & Botox on the side. A doctor here on YT said to only go to a plastic surgeon for these types of procedures. What is your take? I’m very scared of looking weird if I decide to go. Thank you for considering my question(s).😊🙏
Hi Dan, I love watching your videos! Would you be able to post a quick demonstration video of you transferring filler to the BD syringe please? Thanks 😊
This is such a straightforward and helpful video! My only follow up question is, when drawing up neuromodulators with an insulin syringe, I get so much air in the syringe. Any tips? Thank you!
Hi Dan! Quick questions. I noticed on your botox markings on your mannequin, you only had 4 injection spots. 2 in the procerus muscle one above the other and then 2 laterally in the corrugator muscle. Do you not treat the tail end of the corrugator? I had a brow ptosis recently and I believe it occurred when I superficially injected the tail of the corrugator muscle. Thank you so much in advance! I love you videos, sweet, simple and to the point. Thank you!!!
U said insulin needles range from 28-33 millimeters. It's 28-33 gauge. I know you know this. But for someone who doesn't, this is what he meant in the beginning when explaining pediatric and insulin needles.
My neurologist can use this info for my Botox for migraines he is horrible hurts so bad I’ve considered not having it done anymore and he’s an old man should have a better technique and know better by now
Im a 🇨🇱 dentist with passion for aesthetics, so I use intraoral anesthesia (articaine or lidocaine 2%) for some areas like lips to make the experience better, but no canula(not comfortable there). Is it harder to identificate a vascular occlusion if the patient is under anesthesia and vc effect? Is it more risky? Thank you for your advices! I've been following you for a while and I love your channel!♡Greetings 💉😷
In theory it’s a little riskier completely numbing the area because the client can’t feel the initial signs of an occlusion. But they will eventually see or feel it.
Could you elaborate on using this insulin syringe for fillers? Do you empty the fillers out of their original syringe and pull it up into the insulin syringe? And if so, do you feel that it is harder to push out product using an insulin syringe vs the syringe it came in? Thanks so much!
I just had this conversation with someone. About when the nurse gave you the shot and caused the distraction that helped reduce your pain. But if you were to give yourself the same shot the same way. Would you still feel it. lol like if you worked all day and went home. Say down and rubbed your feet. It feels not even close to the relief of someone else massaging them for you. Or is it just me?

But is it long enough for cheek filler so you will hit the bone insulin needle are fit subQ it’s not long enough to hit bone
Correct, cheek fillers require the package needle that comes with the filler. Otherwise it won’t be deep enough
What size needle do you use for fat dissolving injections? Do you use a longer needle for body injections?
I use a TB 1cc syringe. 1/2 inch in length
Awesome 👌
Can I use filler retabliss with a diabetic needle

what gauge TSK steriglide cannula do you use for lips

Hi Doc. How do botox achieve Fox eye?
If you are referring to a slanted and raised lateral eyebrow. Then PDO thread lifts are your answer. Botox will not create that effect.

Yes! Better safe than sorry
