Put those things that go over the windows people use em so they can roll there window down an smoke in the rain without rain getting in, itd solve this
Especially since water will just sit in that lower channel. I suspect this will be a rust prone area. The harness is hopefully sealed but over time that could break down too.
Probably not a minor thing for $60k
Very true. Hoping for a fix in the future
I was gonna say it’s just “minor”🤣🤣
Last one I heard of was $80,000
Especially since it will cause rust down the line!
That's NOT MINOR for the money Ford asking for Bronco. It's class action lawsuit.
It could become one, possibly.
Ford set out to compete with Jeep and they did not disappoint!
🤣 I don't think they meant to win at this.
Funny thing is my bronco is the exact same way!!!!! But it's a 75!!!!
I see they kept this feature lol
It’s a minor thing compared to the self ejecting valves I guess 🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣
You win for comments! I hope for zero ejecto valves 🤣🤣
The other vehicles you show keeping the rain out are not built with weatherproof interiors like the Bronco is.
That's correct, though even with a waterproof interior, the operator doesn't enjoy getting soaked.
This is something that irks me about the Bronco. Why are there no rain deflectors available for this issue
Not sure to be honest.
It was designed that way, it's part of the self-cleaning design specified by marketing and implemented by the engineers.
🤣🤣 self-cleaning car
“Lifted Escape”
Not the sport!
That is why there is a drain plug in the floor .
Yes, however it doesn't stop you getting drenched with water lol
Funny quirk is that it's a ford
Hahaha. Good one.
Don’t understand why they didn’t add a rain runoff channel on the roof like Jeep has.
I agree. I hope they do. I think it has to do with the frameless door design.
May have crap stuck in the seal.. seals are hollow and designed to drain
Its possible, but Bronco was basically brand new for this.
where's the top of the door frame?
Bronco door is frameless
Something happen with my friend’s 100k Porsche and other friend’s 2k Pontiac. When it rains water goes Inside if the door is open.
It's not about rain water going inside with the door open. It's rain water coming off the roof directly into the cabin with no rain channel.
I bought a ford bronco, Now I'm waiting for all that lawsuit money to start rolling in my window!
It could happen but doesn't seem likely at the moment. How do you like the Bronco?
That's part of the overmarked MSRP.
It's a optional package
I paid sticker, but I know some weren't so fortunate.
I found that the auxiliary harness runs down the other side so I'm betting the main wires are right under the plastics right there......
Very possible. Electrical gremlins possible for the future in that case.
Put those things that go over the windows people use em so they can roll there window down an smoke in the rain without rain getting in, itd solve this
Thats a possible solution
Wrangler does this welcome to the brotherhood
Yay, I'm accepted into the club. 🤣👋🏻
Look under the hood
For water?
That's why they put drain plugs in the floor.
Yup... sadly the door edge doesn't have them.
A 79 high boy is immune from this, bring it back to ford have them issue a a discount
Thats for sure!
Nowadays they build cars just for profit. Don't expect quality and reliability
Yup. Nothing lasts anymore.
Looks like the water was outside before you opened the door. Hmmmmm!?!
I opened it more than once to get the water visible.
It’s a ford what’d you expect. For something to work right.
Ideally lol
Yikes... right onto where most manufacturers hide the wiring harnesses. Not like your pinch weld getting soaked all the time will be a rust time bomb.
Especially since water will just sit in that lower channel. I suspect this will be a rust prone area. The harness is hopefully sealed but over time that could break down too.
The must not water test the hardtops either cause mine leaked like a mother. Now the side windows leak too
I agree. No testing.
Order the model with drain holes
I had it. Doesn't stop water hitting the occupants when opening doors...
I was planning to sell my Cherokee Jeep xj 99 and to buy this crap lol No no no! 🤣🤣 Ford please test your car before to sell it!
That XJ will outlive you!
Is this the hard top or soft top?
Hard top.
You may be surprised but when it's raining and you open ANY door water comes in😂
Yes, however it's not supposed to drip in 🤣 they have a thing called drip rails on most vehicles lol
@@CoderMan jest givn you shit😂
Tf kind of car you driving ?
@@Bighannes410 🤣
Most cars have drip edges or channels that keep the roof water from falling directly into the car
Well shut the door
Kinda hard to exit the vehicle with the door closed 🤣🤣
Jeeps literally have gutters
Most vehicles do. Yah.
When it rains toyota safety features stop working.
That sounds like a really bad time!
@@CoderMan
Till this kills some one they'll ignore it. I've told them
Gotta love fords attention to detail. Oh and they have failing engines too! What a hunk of junk.
Some engines, very few in all. Many vehicles have issues in the first year of a new model. Hopefully they work out the kinks.
Ford at its best
Seems it.
Been a thing with Jeep’s I think it’s something to do with how boxy the vehicles are.
Definitely attracts water more, though no drip rail doesn't help either!
My jeep had gutters. This is bad engineering to me
Not very good quality control at Ford. Looks like they just ship it as is bro...
Lots of companies do that. Bronco does go through a QA process but seems the build process could be improved.
Don't leave the door open.
Hard to get in doing that 🤣
Damn, my 35 year old Bronco doesn't do that
Built so much better back then!
My crz has same problems ...engineering these days
Yup. They really don't build them like they used to.
Just like a Jeep your welcome
i feel so loved by JEEP owners now lol
@@CoderMan we still won’t wave to you lol 😂
Ford Vegetable literally
lol
They must have taken design ques from Land Rover because all Land Rovers leak water.
Crazy, especially for a vehicle that is supposed to go in water.
Just like a jeep
Does Jeep have this problem too?
@@CoderMan yep.
I don’t know what that is but it’s far too new to be a bronco
Oh its a Bronco...
@@CoderMan that’s definitely not a bronco they’re not that new.
No it doesn’t matter that it came from Ford.
It’s not a bronco.
Broncos are built poorly, especially the sport models.
I wouldn't say that, it has some design flaws but it's built pretty well.
Man up bro
Riiiight. Not wanting to have water in a vehicle makes me less of a man 🤣
@@CoderMan I hv two kids and hv bronco too. I dont give a dam about the water bro. Man up
@@CoderMan And some random ass Asian guy telling you to man up bro. No big deal. At the end of the day, it's just goofing around.
FORD 😂
Yup!
Laughing in Jeep Wrangler
🤣🤣
Yes because it has drip edges like any normal car that keeps the water from falling directly on your leg
Ejecto engine cuz!
I sure hope not lol
@@CoderMan Lol, hopefully some rain guards solve the rain issue.
oOoOO not good
Nope, not a fun finding...
Go buy a Toyota Camry.
All set, thanks.
Is not funny
Never said it was, more annoying really.
