That's what costed them in the end. No one is out there contributing and it takes a whole team. The perimeter was open the whole game. Josh was triple teamed and could have kicked the ball out 20% of the time for the open 3pt. I'm sure they could have knocked down some of them. He never got his teammates involved and it costed the team the game. Yes him and Dior played good but Good players don't beat a good team. Not even saying this team was good but they played like a team.

Dior is one of the best players I ever watch , full of talent ! Phenomenal player just need maturity in his game being a point , he can score like crazy but gotta take it easy with all the dribbling coming up the court and turnovers . Can’t wait to see him in college dominating!

Dior is going to look back at the film here and recognize he needs to be making stronger passes out of these double teams. Great effort on both sides. A lot of comments upset with the trash talking but it’s a high intensity game with high profiles. It’s going to have this. Choke stuff after the game is silly imo but will be a good game for both teams to build on and get better.

Part of Mayfair's problem was bad coaching. Josh's team didn't adjust to the fact that Birmingham was sending a guy to double team Dior after he crossed half court. Look at this sequence (5:07 - 5:13). The guy who's guarding #1 on Mayfair leaves him and goes to double team Dior. #1 decides to go set a pick for Josh--basically allowing one defender to guard two people. Josh should have popped out to the corner as soon as they double teamed Dior and forced his defender to choose: does he stay connected with Josh and leave #1 under the basket alone or does he stay with #1 and let Josh go to corner for open 3 pointer? Also, for some reason, Dior passed away from his advantage. Birmingham double teamed Dior several times and Mayfair never really adjusted. If Mayfair had gotten a couple of easy buckets, they might have been able to get them out of that gimmicky defense. But Mayfair didn't and Birmingham kept using it.
