When I hear that crackle and the intro music start I know I am in for a perfect relaxing evening. The kids are at their moms (We seperated a few months ago, amicably) and it's time for me to sit back and let Nolan tell one of his many fabulous tales. It will help me forget how much I miss my old house nd most of my things.
@@flogblog7954 I like to think so. Obviously everyone has flaws but the trick is to be aware of your flaws and try to be better everyday. At the end of it all my wife fell in love with another man. She didn't plan to and she didn't want to but it happened. I don't have any ill feelings towards her and honestly I appreciated her being forthright about everything instead of cheating on me which she never did. I'm I happy about it? no but am I happy for her? yes. The bits and peices will sort themselves out, the kids will be fine because they are loved. A big part of my emotional recovery has been listening to Nolan reads. Every word from his lips is a balm to the wounds on my heart. As he turns the pages I slowly repair myself. In a way he is an oral surgeon. Pun intended. Without him I would be lost at sea. The drinking also helps.
I have never heard your channel before, but just yesterday was looking for a reading of this to play to my toddlers on a long drive. Exceptional. What luck that you uploaded this only two weeks ago. Would love it if you could also do the second 10 chapters, which make up "the house at pooh corner." The ending is an absolute tear-jerker.
Thank you so much for listening! I am 100% planning on doing the second book, probably after I release my upcoming recording of The Scarlet Letter, but it may take a little while! I hope your toddlers enjoyed it!
