The Browns first met Paddington on a railway station - Paddington station, in fact. He had travelled all the way from Darkest Peru with only a jar of marmalade, a suitcase and his hat. The Browns soon found that Paddington was a very unusual bear.

well I am 78 and I listen to Paddington frequently when I cannot fall asleep, and then suddenly I am asleep, but it is also the voice of Stephen Fry that makes this wonderful story so soothing....for others please watch the late Queen Elizabeth who had afternoon tea with Paddington, this was amazing. you will all love it

This is the book that lead to me falling in love with reading as a child. It was a thick, heavy, orange hard back and it smelt of stories and dreams and charming blissful mustiness. I read it over and over, my teacher tried to get me to read other books, so "more About Paddington" came next. Stephen Fry is the perfect reader. Thank you.

Edit. Im going to drop some knowledge on you, focus in school, try your hardest on test and work. Study. Dont be the one or a couple in the back being silly not focusing. It may not seem cool and others may not do it because of this reason but trust me it will pay off. You dont want to bear the sadness and dissapointment not only when your mum or dad tells you off but when you get results back. Time flies when your my age i promise do well in school but still focus on fun. Listen little one sleep well on nights and good luck going forwad.
