The entire "trying to get to Godskin boss" segment with Ster repeatedly falling, Jerma calmly staying there and making jokes with the Erdtree Avatar was like the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard yesterday. One of the best streams of the year so far not gonna lie

Fun fact: we actually need our fingernails to grab things. When you apply pressure to anything from your finger, the nail supports the finger and acts as a brace. The nail is like your fingers gym spotter.
If we didn't have fingernails, we wouldn't be able exert much force and grabbing anything would just hurt.

I have a condition that makes my nails really weak among other things…I can bend them backwards for fun and they rip in half all the time. I’d compare them to a weak but solid plastic, like the edge of a plastic tupperware lid. Sometimes they bend backwards when I grab things but grabbing things does not hurt which makes me doubt this 🤔

He finally got to 40 vigor this stream. Loved watching him opt to put like 10 points more than he needed into Faith so that his weapon could do 1% more damage instead of into Vigor to have 50% more health
though watching him split Strength and Dexterity for the fucking pizza cutter when all of his other weapon options were strength was hilarious. settling with 40 Str 18 Dex would have the pizza cutter do 2 damage less but makes him able to swap off of it when he uses it once and hates it lol

re: fingernail vs thumb obviously thumb is more important but I had a disease where several of my nails grew very weak for a while and eventually fell off at the weak segment and man. Picking up small implements like toothpicks and hair pins, taking the top off of soda / beer cans, unrolling tape and a few other little finicky movements - you wouldn’t believe how often we use our fingernails unwittingly

correct me if i’m wrong here but i think you gotta respect fromsoft for just Making Games. here’s the big ass game, complete on launch day, not catastrophically buggy or with some weird developer scandal, for $60. and not just for elden ring, pretty much all their games

Ringed city is a huge step up, the rest of DS3 is just kind of... grody? Lots of dirt and gravel, lots of overcast skies, lots of dull colors...
Archdragon Peak is beautiful, despite being even more stony than all the castle walls and dungeons and catacombs put together.
And you can't reach Ringed City without trudging through the DREGS... bleh.

The DS3 slander makes sense if he hasn't gotten to ithyrll yet, since imo mid-to-end-game and the DLC's is where it's at it's peak, with the town and swamp not being too strong.
Also the pain of being able to count every mistake they made in the Malenia fight is strong

if a bunch of guys cast negative feels on you and the rest positive feels, now THAT'S sensory overload lmao.
Honestly. I haven't played all the fromsoft games, DS1, sekiro, and elden ring. Tho played a bit of Bloodborne, just didn't finish it, so I can't speak to the quality of the other games and the nioh series. But it was wild going from the iconic? Gameplay of DS1, then seeing how much more of a unique deep combat system they made for sekiro, then have my expectations flattened with elden rings combat.
yeah, I remember that one ER gameplay trailer where they showed the character blocking (even with weapons), countering and jumping during fights as much as rolling.
they knew it'd be cooler, but the game just doesn't play like that.

Ster is right by the way. Nioh and Nioh 2 are absolutely wonderful games that feel like Dark Souls 3 levels of quality. It blows my mind people dont even know it exists or otherwise just think its some cheap copy. They are worth every penny.

I think each person's rankings on Souls games depends on what they like the most about them. For me, I like the bosses the most, so I absolutely love Dark Souls 3, because it has so many great bosses

Will there be more "Sorcery Revisit Stream Edit" videos? It stops mid-playthrough on #5. I know Jerma did a full playthrough in 2016 that there's an edit for here but I'd love to see more of your edits, if there's more source streams after #5.
