You can buy self adesive strips that are meant to be used as non slip patches for boat decks that are almost like sandpaper in feel but are very hard wearing that you could stick down on your ramp surface to add grip in the wet...
The problem with your videos is that they are too short! I enjoy watching them but it seems they’re over soon after I start watching! Keep um coming. Thanks
@@SilverCreekAudio Not really; it's a device that you attach to chain or cable and it has a ratcheting lever that pulls the chain and cable through with a lot of force (sometimes used to tighten up cables for e.g. a dog run, or pull a fence taut), thus slowly pulling your heavy loads into the van. Think of it like a ratchet strap that can keep going, with a much longer lever. You can find 'em at farm stores and such. WARN makes a winch that's powered by a cordless drill. Also slow.
Nice video! Love the FlexStands. I have 4 now. I use them for lights, especially on smaller gigs. And, like someone else said, look for grip tape for your ramp. If I remember correctly, I found some on Amazon.
Hey Man, when you're Indoor and do not want to gaff the Cable down (looks not that good/ takes a lot of effort & Gaff) there are black Office Defender. Great for those kind of Things.
Enjoed watching this! I've noticed you chose to use artist's piezo pickup over miking up the acoustic guitar at 8:15. Any particular reason miking is not a good idea here? He's sitting down, there's no drums or other instruments around, should be pretty safe. I'm not a FOH engineer, just someone who loves miked acoustic sound, so genuinely wondering :)
A 1/4" out of an acoustic just works so well and easily. No feedback, sounds decent (pickup depending) and is the standard way of doing things. Dynamic mics (sm57) never sound great on acoustics on a live stage and a condenser mic on a live stage with a floor monitor would feed back almost instantly. It can been done without monitors (I did it last weekend with a blue grass band) but you really have to know what you're doing as an artist. Thanks for watching dude!
Yes! I bought the wheel board on amazon, replaced the wheels with better ones from Home Depot, and added the D Rings for the strap. Thanks for watching man!
@@SilverCreekAudio perhaps you can modify a small winch to clip into the L track system, so you can use it anywhere? Amazon has some smaller hand crank type that you can store easily. And they also have some you can use a drill to pull the winch. Or the electric type that vary in size, but still have a hook on each end so you can move it around from rigging point to rigging point in your van, if you need to pull your gear up in the rain again. Keep putting out more content! I'm in AV in Vegas and I'm probably crazy to watch when I'm not working, but I love audio and I like how simple your sets are. Cheers!
I would love to find out how you price your services. I’m in a different market than you, so the rates themselves aren’t the most critical information. More just how you arrive at your pricing. Just so many questions I have lol
Great job here, Connor! Way to get those speakers up nice and high.
Thanks Michael! Appreciate the comment and love your content! Thanks for the feedback and watching!
You are goals 🙌🏾👌🏾👏🏾
lol sweet! Thanks for watching!

Excellent video , giving people beautiful sound is such a hard job and you explaining your tools & way of working is inspiring... Thank you!!!
Thanks for the love dude! And thanks for watching!
Few strips of skateboard griptape on there and shes good!🤘
That's an awesome suggestion! Never would have thought of that. Thanks man!!
That's a good idea!
Love your stuff man! Please keep it coming!
Glad you liked it and thanks for watching!
Use BISupply Corner Edge Protectors - 40pk 4" Flatbed Edge Plastic Corner Protectors with foam glued inside.
Come along attachment inside the door would help with the wet ramp. Take longer to load but would help if you are by yourself.👍
is that kind of like a chain hoist?

I've taken the Flex Stands out a couple of times and love them. Considering getting more. Thanks for watching!
Would recommend a winch to pull up your gear on the ramp. Great video!
Good idea! Thanks for watching!
10:20 You can use a winch to get the boxes up.

Great suggestion! I'll have to look into that!
Quality of that video🔥
Glad you liked it and thanks for watching!
Also, grip tape for the ramps might work?

@@SilverCreekAudio Thank you!
Great video
Where did you get the ramp ?
It's a Link LSR90 swivel ramp. I had it ordered and installed by a custom auto shot near where I live. Thanks for watching!
great quality video! is this another sound couple channel?
how much did you charge for all that? Greetings from Greece
Ok, so cart for the speakers. Did you make it?
Yes! I bought the wheel board on amazon, replaced the wheels with better ones from Home Depot, and added the D Rings for the strap. Thanks for watching man!
those chauvet flex stand base, does it accept any M20 sub pole?
You can fit an M20 pole into the base but the one that comes with it fits more securely for sure.
I'm surprised that you haven't hooked up a small winch in the back of the van by now. I like your vids though!
That would be killer!

Absolutely! DM on instagram and we can talk about it.
if you ever have a wet ramp, just grab a door mat from inside the building!
Good call dude! Thanks for watching the channel!
put rubber strips on the ramp
Vernis and sand for your ramp
If you are hiring. I’m in your area let me know
Why are you not use subwofer or open. Win bin
For this event, we really didn't have anything that had significant/useful low end information where we needed a sub. Thanks for watching!
Anti Slip Tape might do the trick.
I appreciate the suggestion! The wet ramp has been an issue a few times with all the rain we have been getting! Thanks for watching!
excuse me sir why are you place speaker boxes are very high
If the speakers are up high, they can distribute sound more evenly. Thanks for watching!
@@SilverCreekAudio ok thank you so much sir
and your videos very helpfull for me because I am learning PA sound system
nice event and tha is the dj work hot is not esy
