You always mention great products, books, or other wonderful artists. Would you consider linking them in the description box for your videos? I find myself pausing your videos to try and find the book or artist you mentioned. Sometimes with no luck. Love your videos though! Very inspirational!
Yes, please let me know what I can help with. I have only been on RUclips less than a month and still learning how to do playlists and links and attachments! Stay tuned. and email anytime if I can help with book names.
When I'm stressed I can't create. I've had a bad year my boyfriend passed away in May from throat cancer. I've been struggling because I've been unwell myself. I haven't painted since he passed away. Even though I know it would be good for me. I have just felt stuck for ideas of where to begin. Looking at your work is encouraging and inspiring me to start painting again. You make it look achievable for a beginner like myself. Thanks for sharing your lovely paintings and tips 😊.
I'm so sorry for your loss and what you are going through. I hope you can find painting and creating again as it can be so comforting... I appreciate you sharing and commenting and encouraging me through your message. Sending strength and healing your way. Be patient with yourself.
Such a great video series! I have learned so much watching you and hearing your process. I would love to see more videos about mark making and the various tools and media that you use. Thank you!
Love the idea of energy…trying my hand at being more intuitive in my art…your ideas are so very helpful in creating that space in my brain! A fan from Ontario!!
Thank you, Allison, for these examples. I’m in a phase of my art where I want to expand and mark making over watercolor has hit the spot! I especially agree with your thought about energy. I have to see energy flow in what I do no matter what the medium is and I focus on that more than anything. You keep inspiring me 😊
I honestly think your style will benefit me since it is not meant to be "realistic" per se, but thru the way the paint settles and the marks, some realism can be introduced. I have struggled a long time trying to be loose, but I think I try too hard and that is always obvious in the line work. Your style and method will give me opportunity to play with the colors (not just swatches), and create more lively, energetic, organic results. So glad I came across your channel!
I follow many of the same artists who have influence your work so I wasn't surprised that I was immediately attracted to yours. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for saying that. So much inspiration out there!
