There is a wealth of information here. I love how you share other ideas like mind maps and show us how to apply them to art. I have add and t I think this could be so useful for me!
Very inspiring! Love the art cards idea. I have been doing lots of "playing" as I learn how to watercolour and work with mixed media. I was trying to figure out how to organize the mark making techniques and colour combinations that I like but I don't have room to keep all my practice pieces. Now I know what to do! I am making small art cards out of the components I like and writing on the back for reference. The perfect solution. I am also inspired to print small photo cards of the birds my friend has photographed at her cabin to keep in a small decorative box or basket so that I can enjoy their beauty and my friend's photography skills. I have lots of ideas generating from your video! ❤️
Thank you so much for these takeaways from my video, and watching! I'm so glad I've inspired you in some way. Can't wait to see what you create some day!
Well one of my first attempts is an ‘oh well’. However watching this video and not throwing it away- I cut it in quadrants to play with mark making. I did like parts but everything I tried to do to make it talk sweet secrets turned into awful statements. Chop-!chop- and I have nice pleasing portions to play with. 🙃✂️🙂 I hate the name they assigned me - Jone
Great to hear about your experimentation and play- and it's not easy to cut things up or take projects in new directions. A great exercise in itself whether the end result is what you hoped for or not:). thanks for all of your support Jone.
