Aussie here. Yes we love it when we hammer the Poms, but I’ve gotta say I have the utmost respect for James Anderson - he is undoubtedly one of the greatest bowlers of all time. Thank you for your contribution to this game we all love and enjoy your retirement, Jimmy!

@@justalitttleun He does make a far point thou. In England he is near unplayable sometimes but else where he struggled and especially in Aus. If you look at McGrath who is the best Fast bowler I have seen he was consistent pretty much where ever he went. Jimmy was a great player with amazing longevity but as for one of the great fast bowlers I could name 5 or 6 off the top of my head who were undoubtedly better.
What a bowler! Definitely you will be missed jimmy. I Only watch test matches because of his bowling. Now no one left who can really astonish with swinging deliveries.
i think to some extent test cricket is the only place you can see swings with the advent of 20-20 and two-ball rules in ODIs..But yeah still you need skill to master it like Anderson and other great bowlers + deliver consistently..
