Thanks for the thorough explanation of how your kitchen works, I’m sure with a bigger kitchen space you’re gonna have more ideas to set up the carpentry and space organization! Love this video!

Very Good tips. Maybe add more for consideration.
    1. Consider having hot water piping to ur sink
    2. Consider having water outlet for those instant water dispenser. Nowadays so popular.
    3. Make sure the height for the drying rack above sink is not too low or too high.
    4. Install pull outs in the cabinet for even easier access.

Hi hi! We would say the glass door is helpful for us to close up the service yard:
      1) when we are hanging laundry and doing cooking on the stove (if oven/air fryer then no) at the same time
      2) when we are using our Steigen (www.steigen.com.sg/)
^^ for the Steigen, we feel that it is more efficient/clothes dry faster when we close up the yard! Can share on Steigen in another video next time 😉

@@tangshuimoi686i think thats because u opt to elevate your kitchen height wif cement base. Otherwise cost wil b higher. You have probably paid for the mortar base.

There is no reason to have part of the kitchen that is so called “dry kitchen” in the living room. It just look out of place and messy. This work for large home that can accommodate a sizeable dry kitchen . If space permit, it is better not to place oven below the hob as it is too low. People designed it that way in the past because oven came with hob. Having glass door and partition in the kitchen means more cleaning. It isn’t easy to clean clear glass. There is no point replacing the windows and door to service yard as the view of laundry isn’t pretty Better off frosting the glass with window film that allows light in and block out the view. 😂
Do think of how to organise the cabinet to keep things tidy and that will save a lot of space. I noticed how messy the inside were. Over time, the mess will appear on the outside as well if people doesn’t cultivate the habit to be organised and neat
