As someone who's designed over 3000 kitchens, the number 1 thing in kitchen remodel is location of electric, plumbing, windows and doors. One has to work around what is there. Number 2 is appliances. I have seen countless people who pick appliances from a big warehouse store based on their looks and not function. They realize after its too late that the appliance does not meet their needs. Also, pick appliances based on the size of your kitchen: If you buy a 30" refrigerator instead of a 36", you gain an additional 6" of countertop space. Lastly, get all that clutter off the counter and backsplash area, this is a work surface, NOT a showroom display. Hanging wine glasses in the backsplash area is only going to lead to them getting knocked off and breaking.

How do you draw the same sink or same oven that you see in a store and put it in 3D?
Or is there a way one can have a already made oven which one can download? I only find limited type of objects on sketch up warehouse and that's it. I don't know how to get the same type of kitchen and put it in my 3D.
I graduated and we learned nothing at all at university we just had to look info online and learned from RUclips and had even childish classes. I swear I'm not kidding we had a class for 1 year long of mixing colors. Our professor gave us a interior photograph and we had to find the colors of it with paint. So mixing acrylic colors and then putting it on paper.
Half of my friends are changing to something else and the other half have architect/interior design parents whom are helping them.
I tried working I got yelled at and called st*pid everyday. I have 0 self esteem now. I've been looking online but there's no one that really shows the details of everything they do and how they got that 3d of it or other info.

@@user-oh4ib2jb4r I don't use 3D so I can't answer that question. As a millwork contractor, my drawings are plan view, elevations, and vertical section details. My drawings are for the manufacturers, not for presentation. While they look nice, their functions are primarily to make sure they get built and installed properly. I found that the higher end appliance companies have CAD drawings for many of their models. Look up GE, Subzero, Wolfe, etc.; should should find them there. GOOD LUCK on the new career! One word of advice; measure the means of egress. Nothing is worse than building something and not being able to get them into the space where they are to be installed! I've done that several times; VERY EMBARRASING!

Alex, what i would find more useful are how to manage dirty dishes, pots & pans; waste reduction, separation & disposal; water filter system & hot water dispenser being neatly tucked away, pest control, etc.

Sir, loved your episode. Good narrations & enough sample clips. One suggestion though. When you are describing any thing your sound level is low but when filling in music starts it goes up 10 fold. It makes me sit with TV remote in my hand increase volume of your voice & when the music starts reduce the volume. If both the volum is balanced I need not have to use remote constantly.
    Thanks and regards.

Love your content... Suggest you also add in the Triangle method... Cooking area, Prep area-Wash basin, Refrigerator/pantry.. I learnt this from my Aussie uncle who is an ardent DIYer.. with the current shortage of contractors with sufficient workers & rising costs, perhaps more weekend warriors would want to embark on this pathway !..

    • @barygol

If you get a reliable brand, the product would likely last for a fair number of years, but every product has a shelf life.. in my opinion, it is reliable however it doesnt come in big capacity, hence if space inside the fridge isnt too much of a concern, then itll be a good choice!
