Loveeeeeee this series! It's so informative and simple to understand! So applicable for new home owners! Hehehe. Kudos clicknetwork and ming! Look forward to more interesting content!
What a useful vid! Love the way you showed the productivity of the work triangle. With an induction hob is it still necessary to have a filter hood if you are only doing light cooking. Also what to use the space on the right and left of fridge. Isn't it awkward to have a fridge protruding in the middle of the length of cabinet?
It makes a difference watching a local-made cooking tutorial. There's somehow a lot more clarity although sadly there aren't many good Singaporean cooking vids. This was awesome, thanks for the video!
To stop your cutting board from slipping, I suggest using a silicone baking sheet. You can use it infinitely often, this it's less wasteful than using a wet paper towel every time. BTW: Love the FC 4000 Miyabi chef knife.
Thank you chef for the tips but how to be organize while staying in a smaller flat? For flats like 1 room or 2 rooms, the kitchen space is very small and very narrow.
Thank you so much for the video! It is super informative and easy to understand. What do you think of the Compaplus kitchen countertop, by the way?I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
No matter what kind of cooking surface, iron, glass or induction: power outage means no cooking. Unless you are in the woods where you can make a fire.
Induction cookers have way more cons than benefits for people who love to cook to be honest imo - there are WAY lesser options for pots and pans (most of the time you need to buy new ones in order to fit the stove), it doesn't fit a chinese wok, and you can't lift the pan up and shake it in the midst of cooking :/ Cleaning is a breeze definitely, but I think it's easier for new cooks to stick to gas
シハル I love my induction stove and I’m a beginner cook. The guy is right - easier to clean, can control the heat (10 levels) and There is timer to time like slow cooker! There are modern woks that fit the induction stove. You just need a few pots and pans. Most kitchen burners cant get wok hei so no point. Induction is also safer for elderly cos no danger of gas leaks or overspill, especially if they forgot to switch off the gas cooker
Mate, in no way can I afford to design a new kitchen. I'm going with whatever is in the house when I move in. They've got induction stove? Welp, let's learn how to use that then.
Wow that omelette was overcooked. Use low and slow heat for a lighter coloured omelette. After you saute the vegetables turn the heat down before you put in your eggs so you are not over cooking your eggs.

I love your channel. It is so informative and practical. You have just inspired me to invest in good cooking utensils and pans.
Same here; watching this video simply inspires me to renovate my kitchen. 😂
I can watch all these series over and over again..
This is definitely my new English "drama"
Yes. Sufficient of space for kitchen is very important. Absolutely with what you said, as I am cooking almost everyday. 👍👍👍
I love this series, please keep it going!
Dude, you are godsend. Really useful points. Appreciate you, man
Great series! Also love your TV series "For Food's Sake' - very educational and interesting!
This is really informative! Thank you!
this looks like a nordic kitchen lol. wrote it before seeing drying shelf. Now definitely nordic
Thanks for the informative session. Good tips and thinking points. Maybe can also include lefthanders (living with righthanders) concerns .

Thanks a Gazillion for your tips, Chef Ming!

Kudos to the great video. I also want a man-made stone counter top. What is the type that you are using?
This series is excellent. But remember in Singapore, kitchen space can be super tiny and counter space, non existent.
Mayb should make an episode of What makes a Realistic Home Kitchen in Spore.
Llllllllll@@msnoriha
You just give him a chance to come out with a new series.
oh I thought this is Singapore. Loooks hdb
Thank you chef for the tips but how to be organize while staying in a smaller flat? For flats like 1 room or 2 rooms, the kitchen space is very small and very narrow.
Can you show us which cleaners you use for your hobs and counters?

Hi may I know where did you source the metal strip for the stove and induction top? Thank you
Hello,is it really safe to put the gas canister underneath or in the cabinet?.Thank you
Chef Ming, Hi Thank you for sharing your knowledge on How to Kitchen, just wanna ask, what kind of milk do you use for cooking? Thank you in advance
Hi nice video :) just curious are you using the hood’s recirculating function? I am figuring out how to construct the inside to have this hood.
May I know where to buy the flush mount
Sink in Singapore?
Can you please do an episode on navigating small condo-type kitchens? Esp the type without counter top space 😅
Agree!!
What's that wooden chopboard?? Where to buy??
For a galley kitchen, if I have the fridge and sink on the same line and the hob at the other side. Is it a headache to do that?
This is my first time seeing a black garlic
Very good!
If your kitchen is small, how can you apply your recommendation. Thks
Love the Induction hob but God bless if you are in the middle of cooking some dishes and a black out happen… 😆

@@jasmineong4629 if you wok is season enough, you can get wok hey from your kitchen burner.
what brand do u recommend for Gas Stove.....stainless steel sink from where?
From Hachi Sink
It looks like we must a big house to manage happy cooking
When new flats kitchen so small till cannot do any flow for cooking. 😅
Induction is very limited to induction friendly pots and pans. You can't use claypots or certain pots and pans
Mate, in no way can I afford to design a new kitchen. I'm going with whatever is in the house when I move in. They've got induction stove? Welp, let's learn how to use that then.
would you suggest induction for chinese style cooking? since it might not give as much 'wok hay'...
uncle roger will disapprove and disown me..
Can I have your contact
How about decent stove top (4 gas burners) & oven rather than huge sink. All good chefs use gas for a reason. Poor design really.
Day 1 of trying to get pinned
The display of knives and scissors look scary😳
Why? It's just a set of useful tools, stored for easy access.
It's Herb with a H, not erb please Ming... Otherwise, a fan of this series! 😁

Who can;t cook eggs.
💁🏻♀️I literally don't cook
Your title says it's for small kitchen but your kitchen is far from small. False advertising.
