@@kindkidbk There's a general sense that the 3 of them are want to reunite for the self titled album's 20 year anniversary (especially now with everyone's newfound appreciation for it). It will likely be something the do every 10 years (they did a similar tour in 2013). Otherwise, you would be hard pressed to find any other reason.
@@kindkidbk Well the last reunion after Barker's accident was a total mess, so hopefully it's better this time.
He recovered so quickly. What a true champion. The guys in blink were my childhood heroes. They are the reason I picked up drums and guitar 20 years ago and I still play all the time now. I will always love them for that.🤘

I’m pretty sure it was his money which allowed access to good doctors and quick discovery of the disease that saved him, not same innate champion ability he had
@@williamphillips2671 jfc, THANK YOU. I came here to say this. Everyone always conveniently forgets about the monetary aspect of stuff like this when they want to get all romantic about it. It wasn't a miracle. He paid for revolutionary treatment. Should anyone commenting be diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, the story would be the very opposite of "miraculous".

yeah that is incredible. I don't want to come across as a pessimist but I didn't think it would happen. Stage 4 for a lot of people is curtains.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. More so than anything like new music or a reunion tour, I'm happy he and Mark are friends again. I'm happy Mark is recovering and healing. I'm happy Tom's moving on from a painful divorce and seems well. This was a highly important band to my growing up and even though they are essentially strangers to me, their happiness together makes the surrounding bleakness a little less intense.
As a Blink fan since the age of 7 years old and having gone through cancer myself it’s so great to see mark beat cancer at a remarkable level :) well done dude fuck yes!

I would have loved to have seen Travis’s reaction to Tom saying he’s down for a reunion.
Particularly given the inarguably massive amount of massively successful music he's been putting out with countless artists recently.

They're all almost 50 if not already, I'd say their blink days are over, they should stay apart band wise and just focus on their own thing, but that's just my opinion, if they did get back together I wouldn't object

Blink in my opinion has the most influential band members. Tom, Mark, Travis and Matt Skiba are all amazing artist's and super talented beyond the music. Cancer is anyone's worst nightmare that sadly has a way of becoming a reality for way too many people in our world, some before they have ever have any idea what pain even is. BADASS Mark kickin' Cancer to the curb and right on for all the awareness on the issue.

James Corden didnt handle this interview well, but I really respect Tom DeLonge. Angels and Airwaves are an incredible band. I personally think their songs are Tom's best musical work. I think James could have done more with this interview.

Same! For me, neighbourhoods and dogs eating dogs felt like the most natural progression from Self Titled. I'm stoked that some are enjoying the Skiba stuff, but it feels very phoned in, very fake, very superficial to me. It sounds like music that any generic pop punk band could put out, not the sheer magic that is Blink 182.
