I love the formats, I'd appreciate also seeing general price list / range for the different levels. Of course it'll vary by region, but it would be nice to have a ballpark idea. Or a TCGPlayer list of the cards that would not be there from two Doffy decks
The problem is we script this at least 2 weeks before it comes out. Typically script, shoot. Few days after that's done, then edit. Upload it up to 2 weeks early for members, then go public, so the pricing would be all over the place. And that's before you account for new set/new starter deck specific cards that have no pricing at time of writing
Very good Vid but i dont get it… so the 4 cost Law at the Level 1 upgrade segment (@8:37) can attack then i can activate his ability and return him to my hand???
I really like your videos, especially the starter deck upgrade guides. About this deck specifically, I will say that I absolutely hate the 4c 6k Gecko in any 7W deck, much less the top end ones. It adds nothing to the deck when there are so many better 4c 7W cards that can actually do something for you. I saw that card in every list you showed and I was banging my fist on the table screaming why at my phone. At Level 1, it's definitely a good card, but once you move away from that, it should be one of the first things cut.
So the reason we have them all levels at minimum is just because they're easy for someone learning the deck to execute and gain value simply because its difficult to clear (especially early game) due to its 6k base. I think a lot of the other toolset cards of this deck are very high skill cap and take a understanding of the larger field rather than just your own deck to figure out. So in terms of pitching it to someone new whos just focused on learning this deck, I think it's fine at all levels. Then like we reiterate, adjust ratios as you learn the basics and use your knowledge to build from there.

You're going to want 4 copies of the new boa, law and buggy. So at least one and that whatever is easier whether it's buying or trading for the extra two individually or buying a second copy to get your playsets

I live in a big Canadian city... No new starter decks anywhere to be seen at any store. Bandai again not sending anything to their canadian partners. I quit! Hopefully WotC will send alot the the new Final Fantasy in June 2025.
Sorry to hear that man :/ Did you talk to your store owners like did they all just get none? Did bandai cut them? Seems weird that there's "none" and no source as to why. For reference we're in LA and even our smaller stores got 2 cases of each
@@JoyBoysTCG One store told me they had to order 6 months ago and they missed the cutoff date. The other two stores only received half of what they pre-ordered.
nope it just doesn't really drive the overall deckbuilding of the deck as 1 of or even 2 of for those that play 2. The card is easily inserted without a skew on how the deck looks to be built or operated and is even being moved away from so it didn't see as important for foundational learning as focusing on streamlining the leader ability package and then talking about endgame defining setups with cards like Borsalino, Kaido and Boa.

picked up ST17 a while ago because i wanted to get back into a TCG i played lots of Yugioh as a kid, now I just need to learn OP it looks so fun

correct! when the card is revealed its still ontop of the deck. so itll be the first card of the 2 drawn

Yup you select two characters cost 6 or less they have and place them on the bottom of your opponent's deck
