Loved this video and the quality is really good and fun. I’m building a Germa deck but want to try cross guild out next. Keep up with the great videos!
This video helps a lot.. This is what I'm looking for since the game is all about strategy n the core play and since im new i need guide like this rather than to read all the new to the old card from each series without getting to anywhere except mind fatigue. I wish we can get 'how to do swing and defense effectively from early to late game guide' too.. N thanx a lot 😊
@OfficialBrockLee I've been playing shanks so far. It's been fun. I've been looking into another deck to play online. I was thinking Teech. But after watching your video, I'll give one of the decks you recommend a try.
@ Sounds good! You can always try a few games with Teach and if it’s not clicking, then come back later and try again once you’ve had a little more practice (that’s what I did when I started playing).
This video really helped for a decently new player like myself. Will you be willing to do like a brief overview of maybe a few underrated pics per colour? Maybe just short 1 minute coverage of each leaders?
I really love most of the black decks, its just a shame they are so outragously expensive (15 Eur per Brook, 15 eur per Sabo, like 5 for each Rebecca) Its like 250 euros for a competitive one
Most colors have their expensive cards which are used a lot. Red has Silvers Rayleigh which is like €30 each and Roger (€6). Green has 9C Zoro and Cavendish both also at €13 each. Yellow has a lot like the Ace (€25) Nami (€5), Shirahoshi (€10), Karakuri (€9), Flampe (€2) and Luffy (€4,50) Purple has Mr2 (€30), Sanji (€7) I think we're lucky that PRB made is possible to get some good cards for cheap now like Gecko Moria and Karakuri 😅 But if you want to play them all it's still a lot of money 😂
I've been playing Doflamingo since I bought the starter deck a few weeks ago and I love it. I don't have the staple cards yet but I added some cards that I pulled from packs and can be a substitute for now, I do plan to slowly get the meta cards but so far I've been playing friendlies at my local store and using the same deck I have on the Sim and surprinsingly I've been having a good time with the cards I have now
Awesome to hear!! Yeah that deck can still pack a punch without the upgrades! But a fun goal to build it up and compete. Any one card you’re most excited to add?
@OfficialBrockLee It would definitely be Jinbe but it's the most expensive one rn hahahaha. But I'm goinh step by step, I'm tryna grab some cheaper ones like the 2k counter Crocodile or Jozu, also complete the playset of Boa, Buggy and Law from the starter deck. Which deck have you been playing?
@ Good plan! And oh 100% he will unlock a new power level for sure! I’ve been playing Shanks, but missing a bunch of the core cards as well! I don’t have any Silvers Rayleigh yet, and it seems the price keeps jumping 😅
This video was great! im new to the game so this was very helpful at breaking down each deck! Do you happen to have counts for how much of each card you should have for each deck (pluffy specifically)
Welcome to the game! To start, I would say to start run 4x of everything you see on the screen, with the exception of the 7-cost Sanji, 9-cost luffy and 9-cost LinLin. Run two each for them. That brings your total to 42 cards. I would then add 2K counters and then a few copies of the op09 Nico robin blocker until you’re at 50 cards!
@@OfficialBrockLee thank you so much! will def be keeping an eye out for future videos! this video did the best job out of all the ones ive watched over the last few weeks and really breaking down how and why these decks work!
@@kifo4195 Hey I would say your best option is the Green/Black Perona from OP06! While she’s not quite competitive, you can still perform well at locals and play a solid deck! I would give this a try on the OPTCGSim and see if you like her playstyle!
Doflamingo in S for beginners? Its one of the most complex decks on this list of decks. A good doffy player vs a bad doffy player is a night and day difference and is known for being one of the highest skill check dexks in the game outside of BY Luffy
Hey there, this list is not on how hard the deck is to master! I am not saying the deck is easy, and of course at the highest level every single leader out there requires an intense amount of skill and decision making. But the core strategy of this deck is very easy for a new player to pickup. (Use your 1-costs to find cards and arrange deck, then Leader ability + Jinbe combos to swarm board)
@@OfficialBrockLee beginners cannot just pick this deck up at all and it be clasified as easy with an S tier. Im sorry that is objectively wrong. It is by far one fo the hardest decks to play.
@ You’re entitled to have that opinion! As I mentioned in the video this is all my opinion after testing all of these leaders. Doffy was one of the first decks I played when I was a beginner and I found it very easy to learn the basics and play him. Again I am not talking about high level play here, this is for beginners. And yes Doffys core strategy is objectively easy. If you are going first you play a searcher turn 1, leader ability turn 2, and then turn 3 and onwards you are looking for Jinbe combos. Going second is a little different, but you have a similar plan (turn 2 you can just play jinbe + another with your four DON!!). After this you just have to learn how Marshall D Teach works and you’ve got the basics of the deck down.
@@ZayneCopple Yamato is a fun leader and double attack can be very scary! As a new player the key is to learn the basics and start playing some games and she is a great leader to do this!
Thanks for sharing, this goes exactly with this videos point! Power and fun don’t always go hand in hand. Glad you’re loving Buggy! And teach will always be there when you want to try him again 👍
Uta is a solid leader and has potential to do very well! She is definitely less popular of an option, but you can clearly make it work, as an Uta deck recently placed at the top of an OP10 tournament!
Fair enough points! I had debated putting shanks in the S tier as his combos and DON!! Curve are very straightforward, but what held him back for me is the inconsistency that you can find with your starting hand. I think Bonney could be an A too, she was a difficult one to rank! What made me keep her at B is the difficulty for new players to decide what to do on their late DON!! turns (defence or offence, captain kid or doffy, etc).
@ I respect that. The only reason I say move PLuffy down is because you interacting with the don deck a lot and need to combo right. With Shanks and Bonny they pretty straight forward. But I respect your opinion.
shanks is buns. P luffy is infinitely better, especially against a deck like shanks. Aggro like pluffy doesn’t give decks like shanks a chance to play their big bodies
The most you can have is 5! If you already had five on the field and want to play a new character, you choose who that new one will replace. I have a beginners guide video as well if you are still learning the basics!
@@fums63 Hey you’re not wrong! I haven’t had the chance to test either one enough where I felt comfortable ranking them and providing an overall guide. Was thinking of including them and a few others in a future video 😁
Nice, yeah there could def be more decks worth talking about, but it makes sense limiting it to 10 to start with. I’d watch a sequel though, I like the way you break decks down
That is unfortunate timing 😅 but you never know what you are capable of until you try! Perhaps you will learn it quickly and be the exception! And if it doesnt work out - try Facebook marketplace for some of the other starter decks. Some people bought multiple copies for the booster packs inside, and can sell just the cards as a decent discount!
@OfficialBrockLee I have tried Katakuri, but I have been thinking of buggy, I know doffy is a way better blue deck but buggy seems like a real nice choice for me, being less than 40€ most of the time, so he seems nice as a 2nd deck to play with to get more the hang THEN switch to BY fully, what do you think
@ Yeah that’s a solid option! And if you like blue there’s also Boa Hancock - it’s a fun deck where you are constantly bouncing cards back to your opponents hands. But Buggy is a good pick to learn too! I think BY Luffy is a good option to try later like you mentioned 👍🏻
@@OfficialBrockLee I said buggy not because i like blue (I have never been decent with it) its just, I need a REALLY cheap deck as the BY Luffy has taken a lot of my budget
