In my case, I have wavy hair, but because I prefer my hair long, it started to curl at the lower back and it looks kind of goofy, so I always just tie my hair in a bum (which isn't bad, but it feels lazy, same as a buzzcut). I have yet to find anyone with a similar hairstyle after weeks of searching.

cutting your own hair is the best way to always look decent, also a nice money saver. Doesn't have to be a fade even.
if your ideal hairstyle is simple enough, you can do it yourself with only a little practice
mine's this one-sided waterfall haircut (in my pfp) that I've honed over the years (it took a lot of time to grow to full but some of the between stages worked) and am now growing more hair on the back of my head to make a braid (at this point the back part looks like a rooster tail)
it only requires undercut maintenance and occasional tip trimming
my hair goes wavy when after being wet and the I effectivelyh have 2 other haircuts included because I can flip my hair for a blockier waterfall on the other side of my head or make a stupid-looking ponytail-loop thing that exposes my entire face and fails unless i make sure the undercut is perfect
For men who want medium length hair, go to a hairdresser, not a barbers shop. My hairdresser does a fantastic job of layering my hair to the hairstyle that looks right on me, and my hair is medium at the back and sides as well as the front. I feel the whole point of going to a barber's shop is to get your hair clipped anyways.

2. shampoo once a week or not at all
3. cold water showers(or just for hair)
4.air dry hair(dont agressively dry)
this is coming from someone whos hair has always been dry and damaged until recently. when your hair is healthy it really doesnt matter what haircut you have just see what you like and what fits your hair type.

I have this issue of liking short hair but it growing to shoulder length in just a couple months. I don’t have the money or time to go to a barber or hairdresser regularly, and I lack the tools to cut it myself.
I have been trying to let it grow out but I just end up hating it and chopping it. I love my curl pattern when my hair is long, but hate the feeling of having it long.

My barber said I can wear (kinda?) everything... got lucky.. besides I even tried a skinhead... but yeah... lets not talk about that! :D but it was an experience... experience are worth it. don't try to fear something new. from skinhead to shoulder long hear I was needing about 1 1/2 years growing.

The best advice for anywone woth fluffy curly hair,g8ve a shot for mullets,they are probably the obly hairstyle that looks good at short,medium and long length(not too long ofc)but seriously,mine is medium rn,and it really compliments my freatures,givibg that bishounen looks i strive too,but keeping it shprt will give you a very masculine look and probably make you look more mature a(depending on your freatures ofc)if you have a naturally oily hair eveb better bc it will be more simple to take care of it,hope i helped anywone!

I get the oiliest hair ever. I need to shower in the morning every day or my hair feels, and looks oily the whole day, to the point people pointed it out in the past when I showered every evening, but even at the mid day 1-2pm ish after switching to showering in the morning, my hair and face feels extremely oily, what can I do to help this, I use head and shoulders shampoo every day. I have short hair, not sure if there’s a way to help, but I’d be VERY grateful for advice, thx :)
tbf mine doesnt seem as bad as yours but i think maybe you should try different shampoo and see if that makes a difference and ive also heard (and im pretty certain myself) that washing your hair everyday is pretty bad for your hair overall, i'd say maybe like 3-5 times a week but seperate the days out, not just day after day. ive also got the same issue as you with an oily face, and for that your best bet is to get into a proper face care routine, there should be many guides out there suited for oily skin. Hope this somewhat helps!
